Heard and read this plenty of times for sure.

Even need to pull the dipstick tube just to pull the damn starter.



Fortunately, it's just a single 12mm bolt holding it in place -

 

When the brand new parts store 1.4kw starter that came on the 99 died I remember removing it easily but then struggling to fit the 1.8kw unit off my old 4Runner back in.

 

It's slightly larger so that's understandable.

 

Use the warranty from the one I bought years ago, free free

You wouldn't be replacing your starter again had you kept the OEM and replaced worn parts

 

doubles your brakes lifespan with engine braking, the ability to ride high rpms is necessary for a 4 cyl like me imo

My cousin, who's the same age as me, would watch stuff like that.

Saw the first few episodes and enjoyed it, but that was years ago.

Yeah we have those too in most grocery stores. Never really see anyone at them.
