But nothing about a bj that may be hardened?
I've carried that shovel on trails for two years. Haven't used it for extraction yet, only burial.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Aside from the aluminum plate looking better and is considerably stronger than the OEM tin plates, you get a trap door for accessing the oil filter so nothing has to be removed to gain access.

I've got the OEM version and have not been driving like Norilisk so it has remained in one piece.

No it is not as good as a properly reinforced steel skid plate, so would not recommend for Baja racing, but for what the average person does on the trails would be more than sufficient. It'll bend more than a steel one but they are also easier to bash out with a sledge hammer if you do give it a good smack.

Besides the stock OR or Sport plates are just dust/splash shields, may come in handy if you want to bake cookies at a campsite,
My original stock one was bashed in by a groundhog ffs, I had to swerve like hell or I would have missed hi.

Remind me not to piss you off on the next Ardburg trip!
I wondered what you meant when you said your divorce was handled by the "Shovel and Deep" law firm.
No wonder I could not find them on google.

I've got the OEM version as well. It's taken some good hits. And there are some good gouges in it. It's a huge leap up from the stock tins covers.

You don't have to go that far if you want one. They still sell them new in Costa Rica. CR also gets the Land Cruiser and Hilux pickups.

With the food I eat on wheeling trips, I haven't needed "extractions" yet

do 25yr import rules only apply to registering to be on the road? import two, park them for 25year, sell one, profit with much cash to spare for the ultimate build!

TIL Toyota South Africa sells more models (29) of vehicles than Toyota Canada (18).

They got better stuff than we do too.... well except not Tacomas of course...
