:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! I have a saying - "You can't do just ONE thing!". Well, since we only got the front shocks on, the bearings have presented themselves! Can't find any history on them, so, 200K, plus those 17" wheels eventually won out. I have been hearing it much quieter as "tire noise" for a bit, now that I know how it progresses. In the past, I have only dealt with sudden, ugly, and noisy failures!

Parts on the way, and I'll just take the RAV4 for the last errands before Christmas. Now, I have something else to do after. Happy Hump-Friday, masquerading as Friday for you!

Yup definitely staying out of that rabbit hole, even if it's another 10 years I'll have plenty of time with the company to retire and go do something else without touching any of my retirement if need be.
Ha, yeah don't like the heat much but hate 15 degrees much more :D, these past couple of days have been the sweet spot for me , ........minus all the cedar allergies

    I wouldn't worry a whole lot Danny.
    1. Nothing happens that fast, and everything decommissioned has to be replaced - probably by the same people, so they will have new infrastructure to support.
    2. Younger, important workers (like you) with time at the company, will be the first to be trained into new tech. So, your job will probably last far longer than coal will.
    3. The cleanest, more modern plants will be the last to go.
    4. States with attachments to fossil fuels will be the last to complete these changes.
 I can see you in top management next decade!

Thanks Kurt, very true.........but don't think I want to get into management in this industry, maybe crew supervision but that's about it. I'd rather stay out if the news :notsure::D

I like having my time off, management spends a lot of time here and I don't think they can pay me enough to be here or on standby a phone call way every day.

    Ha. :sorry:...

All these Saturdays I have, now will require overtime, bought another house, contract signed, close next month, have home inspection set up today for a new house build.
I need buy storage shed or shipping containers for the farm. THIN out current house, garage and shop, make ready and prep current house, plan is to have this house on market by Spring Break or before.
I may have disconnect from the social WWW for awhile. I do have a couple of neighbors, their friends and/or family have intrest so that's a plus, that could save +/- $42k in real estate commissions. And I need a few mores days in for hunting :infantry:.

Well, another package came a week earlier than expected! Who says you won't get delivery before Christmas?

Supposedly, the bottom eylets "re-use the existing bolts & hardware".

We just come over, back up to the shop, and we'll have it emptied for you - one day tops!

How many coats? I assume you mean from a can. I put 2 coats on my old 88 Toyota PU, and you could not hurt it!

    So, it's clutch time tomorrow?

I got stuff to putz with, probably do the serious work after Christmas. Got to wrap stuff for the family, you know!
Hitch is here - suppose I can paint that (bought it raw)
Rear shock stuff is now all here...
    Bearings come tomorrow.

I bought the All Pro that supposedly fits between the mounts of the DV8 knock off. Brandon tried to get me to buy it several times. I ALMOST had a use for one, with Mikkel moving in a few weeks. But we opted for a van. But, now I will have one again. That's one reason I'm painting it. Probably get used once in it's lifetime!
