Yeah, I'll get around to it eventually. I think there's still a broken vise screw in the shop that we made a replacement for one of the welder dudes home vise.
And there's a couple of old stem nuts (valve stem) laying around we had to machine replacement. There's even one that was a new oops...They're left hand threads and it was pulling out of the chuck little by little. That happened to a hired hand with 50 years of experience and he felt terrible. I told him no worries we got another blank. Point is it can happen to anyone. In fact a week earlier I had same thing happened to me...I was lucky because the blank I screwed up got used for a larger thread diameter on a different valve. I been doing this awhile and still learn lessons.

Remember these little hand held games? This one was a yard sale free box score.

The buttons would hardly move and took several pushes to work.
Took it apart and cleaned all the gunk from the buttons, used some Caig Labs DeoxIT on the contacts and works like new.

I did have to invest a brand new AAA battery though... :sadviolin:

My wife had one when we first met /dating. It was good to pass the time and we handed it off when working different shifts. Our jobs were in the same department and after our machines were loaded they had 30-45 minutes run time.

It is dated 1995, these things run forever on a battery too.

These were hugely popular back in the day, the tabloids routinely had pictures of anybody who was anybody playing Yahtzee -- movie stars, political people, sports figures.

I've got another Christmas favorite on now, almost over Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Gramps tells grandma, you couldn't hear a dump truck rolling through a nitroglycerin plant

1998 would have been the time me and the wife met so 1995 be about right. I remember there was also a little hand held football game that came back out around the same time. I never had one as a kid but remember them.

I've got a television program on about extinction.
These are the kind of wire winding machines that the wife and I ran all them years ago. The show is talking about the dangers of chemicals on environmental and habitat. It even mentioned how we banned the use here and have it made somewhere else.
That company was there for 50 years about and now it's all gone.

I had one about '96 or '97. You had to constantly mash the Run button to score. Wore out my thumb so quick!

Remember kids, always label your bottles so the one day temp workers don't try to drink it. Again.... 2F9AA60E-9F76-402F-A65A-FD5E69DA3155.jpg

    Good morning Shane and crew.

My wife is always using that line on me, it’s true. Too many years of loud noise and no ear pro. Comes in handy at times. Lol
