Hmm just looked up the price from what I saw a little over 9k new. Making me think here I might need one for safety reasons

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The nodate is ~$8.1k, and with date it’s ~$9.1

They’re sold out everywhere and the demand has made prices go insane. They were 3-4K used just a few years ago, but now even used ones are well over MSRP. If you’re interested, I’d wait until the watch ‘bubble’ pops. Unless you can find used for a ‘reasonable’ price.

When I went to bobs watches a few years ago used was still around 7k and that def wasn’t a newer one. I didn’t realize they were sold out. I wonder if I went down to my local shop in Newport Beach if they would have any. They are normally pretty stocked up. Prices on all things are stupid right now. I can def wait

My mom said she was going thru some old stuff and would I like my high school ring. I asked any watches? Just my stepdad's last watch before he passed. We don't come from money so no priceless heirlooms. Just a $30 Timex Easy Reader with stretchy band. Had to replace the battery that was a PITA! The battery kept popping out while I was struggling to pop the back of the case on.

Super cool. The family connection makes it invaluable. I have my dad's Seiko diver he wore to fly in the Air Force. Really unassuming looking but means the world to me. Love that Timex.

Early Xmas for me!! This pic pulls the pink out of the dial but it has a bunch of copper and salmon tones as well depending on the light. Think they only made 65 of them. Fun watch for sure:IMG_8397.jpg

Made a watch stand from random wood I had laying around the shop. Now I can organize all of my cheap watches! Lol

Just because it’s life proof and I use the GPS function linked to my phone often. The next is my Airking. One of my favorite “affordable” Rolex. The others I have are more investment pieces to pass down to my kids one day, and rarely get worn.

Really like the Air King. Rolexs all kinda look the same to me. But the Air Kings are different.
I'd love to get one of these some day.

Gone over to the Dark Side. '72 6694 Rolex. Unusual/rare linen silver dial. She's gorgeous. I have a grey suede strap on it's way but this one represents pretty well. IMG_9137.jpg
