I think it's funnier when I see "Raptor" lights on Tacomas. Sorry to say this, but it's not a Ford. But to each their own.

To be fair billy compare apples to apples. Anyone can cherry-pick to fit their argument.

Things get pricey when you start adding…..
    Headlights
    Electric seats
    Skid plate
    Leather seats
    Exhaust tip
    Grill
    Hood
    LED fog lights
    Fox coil overs
    Stabilizer bar
    independent coil-spring double-wishbone
    digital dual temperature controls
    moonroof
blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert
Entune Premium Audio with navigation and JBL Audio
6 JBL speakers including subwoofer amplifier
    color-keyed rear bumper

total all this up billy and reassess. I suspect your results will be different.

This thread has inspired me to put this badge on the back of my GX.

I would put a similar badge on my sport if it said:

    Magneto
    Hydrodynamic
    Drive

Then I'd drive around blasting this music.

    ---

Back on topic.... I just de-badged the my sport the other night. The Tacoma badges on the doors were more of a pain than the sport logo on the back since the door logos use that 3M foam adhesive tape (same stuff Go Pro uses on their mounts).

    • I wonder if the SR5 community is going to call me a poser
    • I'm curious if I no longer drive a Tacoma because I took the badge off the door
    • I also took the V6 badge off of the back - can I expect the 4 banger community to call me a poser as well?

Edit: the bullets were sarcasm for those of you that did not detect it

Looks AWESOME! I don’t think it’s posing when you debate. I believe posing is rebadging.

What about no TRD Pro badges on a Pro, is that now an OR with a scoop pretending to be a TRD Sport?

Damn, some of ya’ll taking this kinda thing way too seriously. What’s it to you what someone chooses to do with their vehicle? Life is too short for that kinda noise. Laugh it off and move on with your day.
Heading onto 10 pages of grown ass men [seriously] whining about badges on vehicles.
    Place is a cesspool sometimes.

    Commenting before :locked:

I personally think that the TRD OR is the best deal, relatively speaking; The one thing I like about the OR over the PRO is that the OR comes in AC, DCLB, and DCSB while the PRO only comes in DCSB...

Tacomas in 2020+ are what Civics were 2000+.... in fact i'd bet my life savings and my life that if you polled current tacoma owners, at least 1/2 of them owned a honda between 2000-2010.

Absolutely truth! Look at all the tuner shops that have swapped over to doing brolander builds now after the fast and furious stuff has disappeared. 88 rotors in Los Angeles, RPM garage in Monrovia, etc

I had plenty of Hondas and Acuras in my days.
My last fully modded Honda was an Integra Type R with a built All Motor engine that I dragged raced in NHRA Sport Compact and Battle of the Imports Street Stock classes.
Hell I even won a Wally with NHRA.

Yes Honda made the Type R to be a road course and canyon beast NOT a drag car.

    My money, my choice.
I miss that car but more I miss all the hommies and people during those times.
