I knew the SR5's were less frills, but do you have to buy your own seats now?

Yep. I remember ordering a new truck in 1992. I could pick out damn near every nut & bolt on the truck; so many more options than today. Now you get 3 or 4 packages and that's it. I know it simplifies things from a manufacturing perspective, but I like specifying everything from the front bumper to the rear bumper.

 

Yup. Toyota charging for remote start AND seats! you have to rent the seats per month now.

 

I just use 5 gallon buckets. And when on a long trip they are dual purpose.

 

Go visit the Porsche website. You can spec your thread color in your seat stitching, seatbelt colors, gauge backdrops, etc. Most models, you can double the price with options. You can even have them painted to spec.

 

RAM, Jeep & Ford are still doing a decent job at letting ppl pick from long option lists.
