Something doesn't add up there. Doesn't sound like an "accident" to me.

shouldn't have been a loaded weapon sitting on the counter, shouldn't have pointed a bb gun or otherwise at dude's face point blank, probably should have known better than attempting a "prank" of the sort in a gun store. lots of failures and stupidity on that.

Fucking hell... As if pointing a gun at someone wasn't bad enough already, why the hell was he keeping the display firearms loaded? Hope they send this moron to prison for a long time so he doesn't hurt anyone else with his mind-numbing stupidity.

Pretty big difference in weight between an airgun and a real loaded firearm too. What a senseless and utterly stupid tragedy.

Depends on the airgun. I have a KWA training pistol that looks very similar and weighs about the same as a G44 because it uses almost identical materials.

Edit: Not the one I have but there are reviews saying the weight is pretty close.

When I was little kid me and brothers were trained that every gun is treated as a loaded gun even if just checked it. Second was you NEVER point a gun at anything you don't intend to kill.
When I joined the Army and they had us sign out our M16s a few guys pointed there rifles at me and others. I said the next asshole that points his at me will be eating it. Then I talked to the drill sergeant about those jerks. He then announce to the company that he too would kick anybody's ass that continued to do that crap.

Absolute stupidy and in the wake of Alex Baldwin at that too.

I suppose you're right, but that I'd assume that's still unloaded. A loaded mag adds a noticeable amount of weight to the gun, although I don't suppose he was really paying attention if he just grabbed it up and pulled the trigger. IDK, I guess I'm thinking "too rationally" about it because the whole thought process behind this clusterfuck (or lack thereof) just blows my mind. And this guy owns a gun store?
