    The whole series was great. Read all 3 straight through, couldn't put the last book (hornets nest) down over the last 200 pages or so. They're making an american version of the movie too, should be out early next year iirc.

    Dragon Tattoo was a garden variety murder mystery with average writing. Nothing wrong with it if you need something to keep you distracted on a long plane flight or something like that, but I'm not going to make a special effort to read the others. Dime a dozen.

    I read the first book right when it came out. Very slow the first 100-150 pages, but thought it got really good. Finally read the second one this summer and thought it was great. Been meaning to read the third. Haven't done it yet. Will definitely get to it eventually.
