What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

That is why I am religious about keeping a plug kit, pliers and an air compressor in my trucks. One time use makes it all worthwhile. Nearly as quick as changing a tire.

Back when I had my Sequoia I carried a plug kit. Had on occasion to use it and it did not work. No amount of ass could have pushed the plug into the hole and I almost got a hernia trying. Threw the damned plug kit in the garbage and swore I'd never buy another. And yea, I did follow the directions.

 

Got the AJT Designs steering wheel trim installed. Overall I'm pretty happy with the fitment and look. I do wish the black was a bit more glossy, but, still looks good. The instructions on their website are plenty detailed. The very top screw hole is just slightly off on both pieces, but, with a little patience the screw will go in straight.

 

It is a chore rasping the hole big enough for the plug. Worst part of the job.

Picked up a little something for myself with my Taco today.

 

All you need is two ring connectors and a foot of 6-8 awg cable. Or you can buy one premade at the auto parts store (it will be much heavier than needed, but it will work).

You final option is to install the terminal post at the top of the negative connector and just hook the factory terminal to it, just as you would hook it to the battery. It just doesn't look as nice.

First time I tried it, the tire was completely flat by the time I was done. But it worked.

Got OV tuned few days ago from Tonered.

 

Reverse and headlights should have been done at factory, I noticed a significant difference as well!

 

Did the same yesterday, with Army Green. Surprised at how easy the install was.

 

Finally got around to heatgunning, massaging, and trimming the front wheel wells. No more concerned looks from pedestrians while I'm winding down the mall parking garage.

I was actually able to get a little dirty...but it mostly washed off since all it does is rain here all the damn time.
