Oh I know, I try to avoid downtown around this time of year, it can be a mess with all that construction going on down there. It's nice to walk around when it's less crowded for sure. Last night was pretty nice and calm

Have a Merry Christmas Eve Kurt :santa:
Sounds like a good time, Sea World is a good time and Botanical Gardens was a pleasant surprise when we went, hopefully y'all will enjoy that too.
    Merry Christmas Eve
Mmm Brisket sounds good, Merry Christmas Eve bud

I'm calling one done "good for the day!" As always, it was a compromise of visions. Cut all 4 spacers, impossible to work with otherwise. Added 2 bushings outside, 1 inside, that did the trick.

    Here we go.

And, I have exactly one adapter worth of lift on that side!

No point in pushing my luck on Christmas eve!! I go clean up now, have a beverage and Eve munchies! Merry Christmas everyone!

That last pic you posted those aren’t the correct misalignment spacers you need I redid the front tho. Your rear setup is way different that my rears and what I’ve seen. Looks like you need a misalignment spacer nine the less. I know this because I just rebuilt the lower bearing put a new spherical bearing and figured I could reuse the misalignment spacers but they were trashed. Trying to get some new ones has been a pain. Should look like this just not thrashed

After all is said and done, what comes to my mind is that they should have supplied me with, or at least included, the SAME bushing/insulator that was on the top.

    20211223_155129.jpg

Then the bottom would look the same, instead of this

But, that's not what they gave me. So I did what I did. Might send a note with pics to Down South after Christmas.

Out with the leaking icons, in with the Ranchos. Oil and filter change as well, maybe plugs tomorrow.

Ok, been looking there. Still waiting on shocks to be available for this gen of ford. Talked to a a guy there this week and they are expecting most of the manufacturers to have shocks available come first of the year.

Plan is to put a new set of plugs in, new filters, clean throttle body etc, easier to change plugs with wheels off, lowers the truck quite a bit. Have family in town, they want to go visit the farm possibly today, so not sure when I can safely sneak off back out to shop. o_O
