Just bought a 2021 TRD Sport . It has OEM tri-fold cover and OEM bed mat . I want an OEM cargo divider . Dealership said it won't work . I think I have read that by turning the brackets so the knobs are upside down it will work . Can anyone confirm ? Can the bed mat stay ? I am coming from a 2002 3.4 TRD Off Road .

Unfortunately, it won’t fit with the bed mat in place with a BakFlip tonneau cover due to the drop rails so mine sits in storage. The OEM cover doesn’t have drop rails so it just might still work as you’ve described.

I turned the brackets upside down and it worked fine under my cover.

Cleared the bed mat by about one inch.

It will work with the OEM tri-fold cover. I replaced the knobs with a regular nut from the hardware store.
The one thing I absolutely hate about his bed divider is that it does not come out easily if you want to remove it. It's a real bitch to install and remove. I end up selling it at half the price. I do not recommend this OEM bed divider.

I do like mine, but I have to agree, it is a real bitch to install and remove. I tend to take it out for a larger load and leave it out for a while, til I start to miss it. I like it for keeping things a couple feet from the cab instead of rolling around in the back. Mine was a really tight fit between the bracket and the top of the frame of the divider, making it even more of a pain to install/remove.

Tinted glass, Bed mat, Rigid light bar, Bakflip FiberMax tonneau, Bull bar, LED cabin lights, Bed lights.
I have looked at getting one too. I have a 2020 Sport with FiberMax cover and bed mat. I guess you could just flip the mat back or lift it up to rest on the back side of the divider or push it back so it rides up on the back wall if you wanted. That way, according to the posts it should fit..??.Right..??...Then when you take it out the mat just falls back into place.

I have a 21 OR with divider, bed mat and tonneau cover, everything fits. Make sure you align the divider knobs with cover to clear at closing of cover.

So I have the factory divider and a tri-fold cover. I flipped my brackets over and got the divider to fit under the cover. Aside from putting a regular nut or wing nut on instead of the rail knobs, has anyone found a smaller knob with the same thread to clear better? Trying to keep it tool less on adjusting and removing the divider. It is so close to clearing the locking tab for the cover.
