Used market is insane right now that's why I'm choosing new! How long did it take to get your sport?

 

Ordered my 2021 in July TRD OF DCSB premium AG from one dealership. Ordered the same thing in Oct from another. They secured the truck and it is on route (has been built). They are saying it should be here mid January

 

I ordered it at the very end up September or beginning of October, and picked it up on December 11th. It was also at the dealer for a full week getting lifted and coated and whatnot

 

This is helping a lot for estimating wait times. I'm glad a Canadian thread was created for this. Seems that the average wait time is 2-6 months depending on dealership allocations and how many people are waiting ahead of you. Congrats on your new truck!

 

That army green is a nice color. I'm just looking for an offroad DCSB in MGM color. I don't specifically want leather or a sunroof so I'm cool without premium but if one came in to the dealer in silver, AG or LR I'd be tempted to take that rather than wait. What province are you buying in?

 

The one catch is, they want my truck now, and then I have to wait for the new one to arrive. So the big question is, can I go without a truck for possibly 3 months. I do have another vehicle to drive, but would miss the truck with winter now upon us.

I should mention that on ordering I was told that I may not see the truck till March or sometime in there, but I was bumped up in the queue and got the truck early. Not sure how that work but I'm happy it did!

 

Well... have you considered selling to an exporter/broker later on?

 

Yea, I've really wanted the AG. My previous 3 vehicles have been some variation of a dark green. I also gave the option of a LR colour, but preference to the AG.
I'm in BC on the island

 

I'd take either of those colors if they were here tomorrow. I've actually found a couple TRD OR around the province in blue crush but I don't really like that color.

 

Lucky for you though lol! Dealership originally told me on DCLB TRD Sport mid January. That would be one month from deposit to receiving the vehicle. Must have just walked in at a good time because one month is not a terrible wait considering some peoples wait times. I still have no estimate since I changed the request to a TRD OR.

 

I changed my order yesterday from a TRD OR to a TRD Sport...lol

 

Lol the salesmen must love us being willy nilly changing orders! Gotta keep em on their toes lol

I really wanted a TRD OR DCLB but Toyota doesn't produce them for Canada, this year atleast, so first I wanted the sport. Just don't want to lose out on the Offroad features.

 

I don't think they mind..they will have no problem selling whatever comes in.

 

I put deposit at 3 local dealers for a lunar rock offroad, none of them got any estimated delivery to me. However, I got a call from another dealer that I went in August but almost forgot, saying my truck is here last week. I didn't order or put deposit with him, just left my name and a number. Picked truck few days ago. What a surprise.

From Ontario here, GTA specifically. Ordered 21 late September but told after two weeks that there are no more 21's, so automatically ordered a 22. I was told this month that the truck is arriving Feb 4-14! It's a TRD OR DCSB Premium in Lunar Rock with TRD lift kit. The wait is taking forever...

 

That is brutal... I hope I'm not waiting that long because I'll be moving to a new province in July or August.

 

Snagged a TRD sports DCSB manual in early December. Was an unspoken December allocation. MSRP, but no pressure to add stuff or finance it. Truck is already at the dealer now but have to wait to be back home to pick it up. OR would have been nice but MT and double cab were higher priorities for me.
