Yes, Definitely awesome! Proposed at the Desert Botanical Chihuly exhibit back in 2015. I love how they had them displayed. Randomly scattered and sometimes even farther off the trail so you really had to look for them. If you're into that kind of stuff.. the Japanese Friendship Garden is pretty cool too.

Switched out my S2's for Squadron sports as ditch lights and got rid of the softopper for a bed rack. Will eventually add a RTT and put the S2's on the rack for chase/camp lights. Someone needs my softopper so I can fund more mods!
Thanks for the help @TailHook !

@XPOTRPR How hard or how much time would it take to draw up something? I'm looking to extend the base on a 2nd gen third brake light. I currently have 2 antennas (mag mount) on the roof and the wires run under the 3rd brake light and wanted something "wider/thicker".

I got the idea after looking at the Meso brake light to extend the base to give myself more room for the wires. I like the one with the NMO mount too..... sigh...

Something like that.. would take a while. Lots of surfaces. If you're looking for just a "spacer" to just mount behind it to allow for wire pass through.. that would be easier. If you're looking for another option because those are out of stock.. unfortunately.. the time and cost for me to reverse engineer and come up with something else wouldn't be a benefit. You'd be better off waiting for that to come back into stock.

The "spacer" is really what I'm after... The other was just my ADHD running unchecked... LOL

Does anyone here have the skills and tools to make some metal mounts for an axe and shovel, and a traction board mount for the bed of my truck? If I had the tools to cut and drill metal I'd use good ol trial and error. Quickfists would just bolt on for axe and shovel mount, and for traction boards I have x-bull so my thought is just get a large screw that would stick towards the inside of the bed and just slot right through the holes in the boards.

I've got an after market bed cover so my bed rails sit lower than normal which is why any of the pre-made ones are highly unlikely to fit. Also want to just see the process and learn any little bit I can. I would say I'd pay you in beer but I'm still 18 so I'll just give you some cash and you can buy whatever beer you'd like.

Or if someone has an idea that might help where I wouldn't have to cut or bend metal I'm all ears. Drilling I can do, but don't have anything for cutting or bending, or welding.

I used washers IN the rail. I went larger than fit and filed the washer on opposing sides. My thought was it would give the washer more contact than if I had used a washer that fit in the channel.

    Bolt/washer/rail/thing you want to attach/washer/nut.

    hope it helps.
