REALLY THE SLK IS A SKYLINE?

i really doubt that its on the slk, unless it(the SLK) does in fact share its... well framerails with nissan.

i know the Z and the crossfire share DNA... a little bird told me.

I don't want to say anything because Chris will probably just prove me wrong...That's why Chris is the man!!! He is so smart. The only thing I like on the Frontier is the rear disc brakes. Other than that it is crap. IMO.

Nope, the Crossfire rides on a variant of Mercedes R170 platform. i.e. the first gen SLK series.

yes, this is true. i was thinking of mazda. my fault. however, i did read somewhere that ford did a sister project on the Quest van. it was exactly like the mecury villager. it even had ford parts in it or something like that

    good corrections

personally i like the frontier. the biggest thing for me was the resale value. other than that they are both great trucks

I had a Nissan Titan before my Taco and I'll tell you right now that Nissan Customer Service Sucks! Any problems took like 3 trips to the Stealership to try and get addressed, or re-created. Basically, Nissan is all about screwing the customer and waiting till your out of warranty to tell you tough luck on the part that failed, or the problem you have now is not theirs its yours because your out of warranty. Toyota on the other hand will stick with their product and see it till the end and even goodwill some events because they care about Customers being happy with their products. Just my vent between the 2, that in my opinion is why toyotas demand a higher price and maintain a better resale.

The Skyline is a Nissan only thing....and my would I love to have one. Specifically a 2001 GTR with all the goodies.

    also another 10 reasons why:
10: not as resilient as a '92 sentra ( many stories)
    9: its not a yota
8: the carpet tends to smell like cabbage after a bit
7: it feels like it was put together with superglue
6: Lesbians(not the lipstick ones) drive them
5: its not a datsun 260 which is freakin awesome
4: because candy bar bumpers make me hungry
3: The roof racks look like they are made from PVC pipe
2: the manual is sloppy and the auto is the definition of a slushbox

and for the number 1 reason why tacoma > frontier

1: its not a Tacoma and ND will prolly eat you if you get one
