I'm loving them so far! A definite upgrade from the stock sized ATs that I had before. I've taken them to Walker and Tahuya now and have had no issues (besides the gatekeeper slide into pole). Great traction so far and I haven't noticed any negative effects on my ride quality. Definitely took a hit on my MPGs but I moved up from 31s to 33s and these are not the lightest of 33s. We hit some packed snow at Walker but nothing fluffy or deep to test them in. Also haven't driven on any snowy roads yet with them to see how they handle.

Awesome....yeah the 31-33 is a MPG killer for sure but the trade off is worth it IMO

Regear to get back some MPGs is probably my next major mod. Front lockers at the same time.

I wouldn't hold my breath on gears gaining MPGs. The drivability will be much better though and less strain off road. for the front locker....might as well do it while you are in there

I lost mpgs. More Rpms = lost mpgs. Cam gears got me 1.5 mpgs back. Summer gas and 3.73’s I was around 17 mpgs 4.88’s was 12.5-13.5 that being said I was way over geared and pushing 2,900 Rpms at 70mph

Funny enough 5.29s and 35s on my truck feels way better than stock and not over geared (for 3rd gens). I can actually use 6th gear on the hwy. I’m doing about 2k @60mph.

This Tacoma confuses me on so many levels. From the trailing arms with leaf springs to kitty litter and a super charger.

The trailing arms or ladder bars are pretty common on bro trucks. Properly designed they help reduce axle wrap and the driveline vibrations that come with it. Some are virtually just for show.

Something tells me I won't be selling my truck in the immediate future..... Either tire shops are BSing their inventory, or these tires are A: being discontinued or B: supply chain fucked due to covid, this eBay storefront was the only place I could find the 35x10.5 size available. The seller is simpletire, but on their main website they show zero in stock and unavailable for order.

There's also a minor detail about my LS400 sitting in a swamp off the side of the road and most likely full of water by now.

Looking for a 3rd winch. Myself, and usethe2nd are gonna give it the ole college try tomorrow if he's not busy. The 3rd winch will most likely be needed. If that doesn't work then it's time to call a wrecker. I've already called it into police, so if in the chance someone sees it off the road and down in the swamp, freaks out thinking there's a dead body out there and they send the calvary to investigate and come up empty only to intensify the search and waste a lot of man power. Especially on Christmas.

I'll be back in town midday tomorrow and can help out if needed. I can be your third winch.
