There's always a story right :anonymous:.

Was headed out of North Bend towards the casino on ramp, had a lifted 2500 chevy pass me and in the process blasted slush all over the windshield. By the time the wiper had cleared the windshield, next thing I know, I'm hydroplaning sideways uncontrollably, and realized I was pretty much along for the ride and waiting for it to come to a stop. Well unfortunately it came to a stop in the swamp.

Chevy guy never stopped, but a car going the opposite direction did. He said with the snow flurries he could barely see me sliding across the 4 lane road and wasn't sure that what he had just seen, and stopped just to double check. If he hadn't seen me, there's no way anyone else would have. It's really out of sight right there but only 40' off the shoulder.

If you zoom in just right of center you can vaguely make out the roofline of the Lexus in the brush, pretty much up to the windows in water. The ass end is a bit higher, sitting on a brush pile or something, and the engine is completely under water. Pic is looking east towards town.

If you zoom in just left of center on this one, you can see the swath of brush my car knocked down as I slid though there sideways. Pic is looking the direction I was headed, you can see the wheel ruts in the road are just filled with water.

Luckily I was able to climb out, and also that I didn't have my son with me at the time. I was headed to pick him up from my ex on the ridge when this happened. I'd love to blame her for it, as she was originally supposed to meet me at noon as decided in our cr2a separation agreement but she said that wasn't going to work and that she need more time till 2pm. If she had actually followed what she agreed to, I likely wouldn't have been douched by a lifted Chevy and probably made it safely to pickup my son as originally decided and not have my LS400 in the swamp.

 I already played the snow card to get out of some family gatherings in Granite tomorrow. I doubt it’s going to fly but I’ll run it by the wife if I can come help ya in the morning. :fingerscrossed:

I appreciate the offer, and that's a helluva Trek for you to make. Let me know before hand if you are able to, and I'll see where we're at. There's a chance it will come out with some creative rigging, but it will probably need a wrecker with outriggers and major weight to extract it. By now I'm fairly certain it's up to the roof in water, but theres a possibility that it isn't sunk and perched on some brush or woody debris and still above water. :fingerscrossed: as of 3pm it was still nose down with the trunk being the highest point, but the hood was completely under water. I was able to shut it off and get the keys out but the headlights were still on so anything and everything electronic is probably fubar. I had just filled the fucker with gas too on my way out of town. :annoyed::frusty:

Last week, my old man discovered a large gouge in the sidewall of one of his K02s on his towing rig. So he called around looking for a new set of four and what he was told by multiple tire shops was there were less than 8 of the K02 in his size and E load in the entire country

Yikes! That looks stuck. Glad no one was hurt but sucks to deal with the fallout from that mess. Good luck on the recovery!

Some drunk asshole hit my wifes car last night. He left a note but its going to be a bitch trying to get a replacement. If anyone has a line on a decent used car, hit me up. She's 7 months pregnant and has to go to like 2 drs appointments a week, only having one car is going to be a huge pain in the ass.

Does anyone else have several hundred pounds of snow/ice caked onto their truck? It feels like I’m completely loaded down with a weeks worth of camping gear

Mines like 2” too short for my truck to fit. I’ll add that to list of things in my life that are 2” too short.

I've noticed places around here have shorter garages. no way in hell can I fit my Tacoma in the house we are renting. the GX fits but if the garage door is closed, I cant get from door to the drivers door. my wife's rav4 fits perfect but not by much. and no way in hell we getting 2 cars in here. even if it was completely empty, it would be a tight fit. since I have no other storage the garage isn't empty
