Morimotos on a black friday sale would have been your best bet. That or check out the for sale section. Those have been my favorite so far. 2nd favorite would be the BHLM. Lots of customizations options there. There's even a few people on here that you can send your lights to and they will mod them for you.

It appears some of you have a bad experience with Alpharex headlights. In contrary, I love their headlights, and it never failed me.

Big difference between turning on and providing useful light at a distance.

They are a poorly built and very poorly performing headlight. Other than turning on they don’t get much right. Better bulbs in the OEM headlight housing gives much better light output.

Don’t know what to tell you, but I drive nights a lot. I used their lights in past as well. Didn’t notice the brightness was that low.

I guess it’s not working out for most people. I truly didn’t notice the output being that low.

Sorry, the OEM LEDs aren't "dope"...they are off the chainz. For rizzle.

Where is your name from? Reminds me of a skit from Key and Peele making fun of college football players.

This reply needs to be copy and pasted into every single headlight and fog light related thread and then the post locked.

Anything else is paying money to downgrade performance, which is cool, I guess if you want Internet swag points on the ‘gram.

Yes. Save up for OEM LED headlights, they are the best. Any other headlamp is going to be a downgrade from stock halogens.

Why would you skimp on one of the most important safety features of your vehicle?

I’m just confused because all these YouTube reviews are saying they’re great but then I come here and I’m getting a different opinion.

Apparently, it’s different from one user to another. Perhaps, some peoples’ expectation is too high. I had no problems with the light output or the construction. I usually take backroads and I don’t have a 20/20 vision.

No it isn't different from one user to another. Its because some people know what they are talking about, but most have no clue. Most youtube lighting reviews are total garbage. You have very ignorant people with no background in automotive lighting making product recommendations on products they don't at all understand pretending to know what they are talking about. If you don't understand automotive lighting, you recommend products with high amounts of foreground light (like every YouTuber) because people judge light output based on light immediately infront of them, aka foreground light. Humans judge light output based on close proximity. But in an automotive headlight this is actually a very bad thing. Foreground light should be minimized, it is the distance light should be maximized. In other words what makes a good headlight is directly opposite of how people naturally judge lighting by the naked eye. Distance light doesn't look as impressive in videos or pictures or side by side comparisons, but high amounts of foreground light does. It just so happens "AlphaRex" significantly reduces the distance light and blows out your foreground light in a short range toy light product. Looks super impressive if you have no idea what you are looking for. Looks like a complete disaster and not at all like a legitimate headlight for anyone that knows what to look for.

AlphaRex also does not exist as a manufacture. They are nothing more than an importer selling cheap non-compliant Chinese lights at huge markup to people that don't know better. The lights are actually zjlingyi.
