Picked up a set of these on a big uncharacteristic Apple sale. The noise cancellation is astonishing. upload_2021-12-25_23-14-58.jpg

although so far it seems they eat phone battery for some reason

When I bought the Pixel 6 Google gave me a free set of Pixel Buds. I'm still on the fence about them. Compared to a decent set of wired in-ear buds the sound quality isn't even close. I'll probably use them for work just because you can do some many phone functions hands free with them. For listening to music at home though I'll stick with cans or decent in-ears wired.

I got free Samsung Buds + with my S21 purchase. They’re acting up over a year later so busted out the old Beats Solo for the gym. Holy cow, so much better lol. I’ll probably grab air pod pros soon since I have an iPhone now.

The real game changer is using them on flights.

My biggest complaint is that somehow they have made the Bluetooth in the Tacoma completely unreliable. Disconnects randomly, sometimes dropping the call. Regardless of if the AirPods are with me or not. (Obviously a phone issue of some sort, but no problems using any other BT devices.)

I picked up some jbl noise cancelling headphones before my trip, they are great for drowning out my wife's snoring at night :)

We picked up an inch of snow last night with more coming in Monday. Mammoth got 6 feet in the last 3 days with another 2 feet coming tonight/Monday. 395 is closed and 80 is closed. It's been a big storm.

It dumped last night. Big Bear looks awfully white from here. I’m sure you got some new powder up there @theesotericone

It’s 64 degrees and sunny in Phoenix. It did rain yesterday though. A whole quarter inch. Was overcast and rain on and off the entire time I was awake yesterday. Abt 10 am - 10 pm

Yeah I'm stuck in the Truckee area. Getting here was hectic. I took backroads after it came to a complete stop on 80. I knew I close enough by Fordyce to take old 40 and bypassed all the stopped traffic.

We only got about an inch last night here in Bishop at 4000'. Above 7000' there's at least 5 feet. I'm so bummed my rig is not trail ready right now. This is the type of snow wheeling that I really enjoy. To me, if you can still see your tires, you ain't snow wheeling. lol

Knowing the backroads is key. 80's been closed for a really, really long time now. There's another big wave coming in tonight/tomorrow so they might just keep it shutdown through Monday night. That would probably be the longest 80's ever been closed for.
