I thought I heard a drone zoom by my office window. It was my kid who was out circling the house with Skydio 2.

Then it spots the landing pattern on the case and lands itself. I need to get the trucked fixed so we can take it out on a trail.

He said it was dodging trees and the house using autonomous obstacle avoidance.

 

I'm not sure I could hang lol

 

Yep, Roaring Camp in Felton, CA. I remember when we were looking for wedding venues up here we went to Henry Cowell and walked right across to Roaring Camp to ask about using them as a venue. Permit was like $10k though so that was quick nope lol

 

You can take a little hike that leads out to the 'Garden of Eden'

It's a nice sort of "beach in the forest" sort of thing that not many people know about.

It's beautiful.

Hell there's even a natural "pond" with Koi fish in it.

 

Yeah it's a beautiful area. Henry Cowell was actually our primary choice until we found Big Basin

Well gear up in the parking lot and take some good pics before we head to the bar
