No worries, just wanted to make sure I understood the question.

The short answer is, Yes. When selecting the DIY Trimmed option on the Fender style configuration the Fend-X Liner is tapered to the specs of an OEM Fender, except slightly wider/longer to reach the new width/height of the trimmed edge. If y’all are personally trimming these Fenders, then trimming the little bit of excess off the Fend-X Liner that overlaps with the trimmed edge is the easy part. Call in when you receive your Fend-X Liners, and I’ll personally walk you through how to do this specific to your build.

As for attaching Fend-X Liners with Trimmed Fenders, unless you reincorporate Tabs, you’ll need to attach approx 5 L-brackets along the inside of the Fender. The L-brackets will act as Tabs and ultimately be concealed by the Fender Flares. However, if you haven’t already made your DIY Trim.. I highly recommend going the extra mile and reincorporate Tabs back into your Fender cut. This way you can tap a riv-nut into the new Tabs to secure the Fend-X Liner.

    Got clearance? :santa2:

    Couple tips n tricks :laser:

First thing, remove from sleeve and lay Fend-X Liners in direct sunlight for ~1hr, this allows the Gear to unravel and flatten out.

When you’re ready to install, place Fend-X Liners back in the sun to heat up (Caution: Liners will absorb sunlight and reach Temperatures up to 160 F, wear gloves). This method bakes the entire Liner and makes them even more pliable and easier to conform in the wheel wells. Fend-X Liners will start cooling down to atmospheric temperature once removed from the sunlight.

Side note - If you need direct heat, use a heat gun. Do not use a torch.

Fend-X Liners are designed to route inside of the Fender, behind the Fender Tabs and taper along the inside of the Fender Edge.

Side note - recommend flattening pinch-welds. Not required, but maximizes wheel clearance and allows Fend-X Liner to lay flush against the firewall.

Thinking about getting the Fend-X liners for my rear wheel wells on my all-stock 2018 TRD Offroad. I just noticed the yearly Krown rustproofing oil spray has caused the stock liners to get all soft and curl inwards and rub on the tires. Total junk. These look like they would provide better protection anyway, which is good as I plan to keep this truck a long time. I don't need to remove the fender flares for install do I? No drilling?

No drilling into the Bed or Frame. No need to remove flares. The Fend-X Rears are designed to mount to the hanger brackets that attach to the bedsides (yellow arrow) and span the width of the rear wheel wells

Just got a set! My wife will be looking at me sideways about getting excited over fender liners so I guess she will buy another oil diffuser or something I don’t understand haha

Hey there the wheel liners appear to be all sold out on your website, black Friday deal must have been good. Any time frame of when they'll be back in stock? Looking for the trimmed fender version.

Hey Nate, appreciate the interest! The site is out of stock to control lead times. I’m booked out 7-8 weeks right now. New (FEND-X) orders are shipping at the end of February.

Yes, you can call the shop or DM me if you’d like to get in the queue. I’m just taking limited orders per week until February - March / when supplies become more abundant.
