    @Squatting Pigeon

This fairly basic 2021 SR5 with some miles on it is literally a grand more than the brand spanking new 2022 I was just looking at!

I call it "historic inflation combined with people who are so desperate to buy a new vehicle that they'll pay damn near anything"!

And it's got over 21K miles!

    6DB6E99F-7FF1-4574-B082-66E10FE5BA3A.jpg

I've put over 21K miles on my truck since December 2020...

    :anonymous:

However, I know everything I've done to my truck in the last year and would have no problem hopping in it and driving across the country tomorrow; If I were to pay almost sixty grand for a Tundra, I'd prefer to be the first owner rather than having almost 22K of someone else's miles on it!

Yeah who knows how hard or easy those 22k miles were on the truck!

I found out that spark plugs handle 40K miles in two years a lot differently than 100K in 10 years!

Also at CarShop was this pre-TSS 2016 Tundra 1794 with almost 70K miles, a mild lift kit, and an unsurprisingly stratospheric pricetag...

Ive been looking at F150's and now considering these. Problem is low inventory = high $$$$. Going to hold off for now. Thanks for the posts with stickers.. F150's are going for the sticker price or more lately

I go back and forth with the new Tundra. If you look at it as a whole and at the right angle it has some neat things about it. However, if you start looking at different parts of the truck or stare at it at certain angles it just looks goofy. Kind of a hodgepodge of afterthought and spare parts.

Either way, these new Tundra's are sitting way too low off the assembly line. They need a mild lift.

If I were going to buy a full size it would be a ford raptor or ram trx, but the lotto keeps giving me the wrong numbers.

I kind of like the look. If you accept the look of Lexus F-sport, you may like the look of the new Tundra. Hope the next gen Tacoma has more personalities, not just a small Tundra.

Never understood why trucks are going from poor front end aerodynamics to far worse aerodynamics with even more blocky front ends. “Aggressive” looks over performance and mpg I guess sells. It’s looks, and less aggressive in fact.
Makes me realize that Tesla truck is smarter than I thought and I hated it but now I’ve seen the new Tundras lol.

Probably not going to Fred Beans in Flemington, New Jersey tomorrow; When they have just a file picture, it seems to mean that the truck isn't in stock yet...

Also, Fred Beans was greedy about new car prices even when it was a buyer's market, so it doesn't surprise me that price on this truck isn't listed! Fred Beans also only has 26 new Toyotas in stock...

I suspect that the 2022 Tundra that I saw on Sloane's website was on the property somewhere, but parked in the garage or something; Compared to Thompson's location in affluent Doylestown, Sloane is not in the nicest area so they probably had the $60K truck under lock and key...

However, they did have this Sequoia TRD Sport! I do not believe I've photographed one of these in this specific trim before, and this one had a New York inspection sticker, so I suspect that Sloane bought it at whole in NY and plans to put it on their lot as a CPO...
