I get it, and we all appreciate what you do.. I am sure it is hectic in its own way at times, but at least the holiday rush should be coming to a close.

It’s hectic but it’s relaxing at the same time, might sound cheesy but when I’m driving I get to unplug and reflect on things. Pretty cool. Just thankful to live in this Country that allows me to be happy and find joy in the little things!

    I get this totally....

I like it when I am working on the field, the simple thing of just the weed whacking and mowing of it is very relaxing for me and it allows for me to do the same. I know some people will find this totally strange and bizarre but it really clears the mind.

Morning Ozzy - yep, you and your trucking friends got us all of our stuff earlier than promised!
    Morning Linwood
    Morning Scott

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Looks like a fine morning for a trailer hitch. Absolutely poorest instructions ever, so we hope it's just obvious when I slide it under there. Go from there after that.
Have a great first Friday everyone!

I agree, we need these mindless tasks every now and then.

And tractor work is great mind therapy as well!

Well..... it's not like I didn't ask any questions 9 months ago....

    Neil;

    That’s rather disappointing.

So, can I get, or purchase 4 of those mounting bearing/insulators from you or King? I think that would be the better install than what I have.

    Regards,

    Kurt Christensen

Subject: Re: Your Down South Motorsports order updated (#2124420)

The shocks you purchased were a universal fit; they are not model specific for your Tacoma so fitting them to your application would be up to you or the installer. Being universal fit like most off road shock manufacturers they are designed for a use with standard 1/2" through bolt. Since they are not model specific King (or Fox, Bilstein ETC..) would not offer any install instruction because of the universal design.

When you ordered them from us we had the internal valving of the shock setup for a Tacoma but again fitting them is the responsibility of the end user. If you wanted a model specific shock for the Tacoma King does offer them as a direct fitment:

Yup, take care of the customer....
EDIT: 4 emails later, I will get some grommets and spacers..

Well, short a few washers, and not finding the bolt to remove on the DV8 bumper, which apparently isn't a TOTAL All-Pro knock off, we had to lower the spare, and got it rotated in and bolted up.

Naturally, the plate holder bolts were locked up and had to be cut, so have to fix that. And look where that cinch pin hole is! Behind the front of the bumper, above the chain plate. That will be fun!

I'd put an extender in there, and reduce the "not rated for towing" hitch load by 50%. Today, I'm just not enamored with the OR aftermarket industry. But my paint job IS nice and glossy!
