I realize you were posting about the mileage, not the TMPS but I freaking hate the newer Toyota TMPS system. Both my and my wife's 4Runners don't monitor the actual pressure, just a range. Our Camry monitors the actual pressure and if it drops 1 PSI below what it's supposed to be the low pressure light will be on for the rest of the day. It's just annoying to me but the wife gets panicky about it so I've added some pressure to counteract the cooler temps. But once I get on the interstate and they warm up they're a few PSI over. I hate it.

I actually haven't noticed that. I think mine kicks off when it gets below 25 psi, but it rarely drops below that. I got in the truck this morning and had 25-26, but I could stand to have a couple more pounds in them, honestly. The last time I chalk tested them, 30-32 was about right. Starting out with 27 or so normally lands me in that 30-32 range by the time I really get going.

I may need to look at some settings to see if the sensitivity can be adjusted. The Camry calls for 35 on all 4.

Edit: Apparently there is a process for resetting the desired tire pressure setting. If someone performs this process with too much air in the tires it can result in the issue I'm having. When we bought the vehicle it had 5-8 PSI too much in each tire so I suspect this is what happened.

Lesson of the Day: Instead of just complaining, try Google.

Thanks. I think I found my stud in Conway. My daughter knows a family there with several standards.

I’m not used to sweating on Christmas. Supposed to be 82° here tomorrow. Ugh.

Anyone in need for a set of 2019 Tacoma Off Road 16” wheels and stock tires (13k miles)? I have the spare as well. They are just collecting dust in the garage.

Mother in law has one. Havent had any troubles out of it. We opted to go with the blink system. No monthly or yearly fees and you get quite a bit of free storage.

Been working on my 93 pickup. Replaced cv axle and while i was at it got a new rotor and repacked the wheel bearings and put a new seal in. Im having a hard time of the hub and rotor sliding all the way back into place. Anyone have any suggestions?

Lol. Was my first thought as well.

Make sure splines aren't damaged on either side. I like to use some anti-sieze as well. Lubricates it going back together and makes me not hate myself next time I have to take it apart. Try rotating it a few degrees too. I know that doesn't make sense and it should go back together any way you want it to but on my 1st gen it seemed like the CVs always had a certain way they wanted to go back together. Put it in at one orientation and it wouldn't go no matter how hard I fought it. Rotate it a few degrees and it slides back together with no fight like it's supposed to.
