I actually enjoy the Mitsubishi Eclipse... the paul walker years. Truly an interesting design for it's time.

'95 Non-turbo that I managed to get just in time before it rotted completely out. Rear rockers are gone both sides. Got the passenger side almost done. Put on the backburner for a little bit while I figure out this home buying crap... :annoyed:

I've owned a bunch of cars. The 2 cars I wish I still had were my 97 civic ex. I did a manual swap and it was a blast to drive.

Then there was the fire breathing dragon 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula. LT-1 350 V8 with 6 speed manual. Amazing car.

Yesterday, when I went to Thompson Toyota to check out their 2022 Tundra inventory, I saw this on the used lot; It's a 1997 Honda Accord LX, with just under 150K miles, in what I would consider to be very good condition for a vehicle that's going to qualify for antique tags in less than seven days!

There are three "families" of dealerships in Doylestown; Fred Beans, Keenan, and Thompson...

The Toyota dealer is owned by Thompson, and in recent years they have been a little less discriminating when it comes to selling used vehicles that are over a decade old and/or have really high miles; This was even before inflation and the chip shortage! Back in like November 2017, they had a 2002 Tacoma RC 6-lug with no A/C, over 100K miles, and a less-than-perfect body; This Accord is actually decent in my opinion, though...

Hubcaps? Forget that! My uncle is in the hubcap and wheel business, and he could get me some really nice Accord EX alloys for a song if I bought this!

My only complaint is that it doesn't have a third pedal, because I've heard horror stories about slushboxes in this era of Hondas, and stick shift=more fun!

There's a Carmax-like place called CarShop (formerly CarSense) next door to Peruzzi Toyota; I went over there to see how ridiculous the used car prices were...

How about $18K for a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage, which is quite possibly the most miserable econobox ever to come out of the 21st century?!?!

Yes, it has less than 7K miles (which means you can get a loan with the same interest rate as a new car from some banks), but it's a Mitsubishi Mirage...
