When you have a camper, everyone else with a camper is your friend. That's why everyone at the gas station that doesn't have one wants to talk to you for like 30 min after your tank has been filled and topped off 10 times.

It might be bent now, but the main problem is the 2nd leaf getting caught on the hangers at full droop. Same thing was happening to @Red Baron

Seems to be an issue with the Dakar plus BAMF hanger combo.

Couldn't you take a plasma to either the spring ends or the shackle hangers and clearance them?

 

or buy a 1st gen #bestgen and never worry about it again

 

Yeah, I would just shorten that 2nd leaf a touch and it should fix it.


Or just ditch the shitty Dakars cause they're probably shaped like a W and don't hold any weight anyways.

Yup. I have had nothing but issues with these leafs. Surprised they have last 2 1/2 years. Going to build a bastard pack now

Anyone have any recommendation for some entry level crampons?

I have a pair of 10" Oboz snow boots, size 10.5, going to be doing Mt. Snikatu with a buddy next week, want to be prepared.
