I mean that's what it is lol. Dodge Ram used to be a decent company. The early 2000s Dakotas were decent trucks. Now? I've seen many people with 1500s with cracked heads and continual break down of parts. My dad's wifes 01 1500 doesn't have one original part on it aside from the frame and body. I'd take a Ford over RAM every day of the week.

Hey Dave, or anyone else in here if Dave doesn't want them... I have a (matching grey) leather steering wheel cover for the 1st Gen steering wheel and a drivers side seat plastic panel if you want them. I got this stuff right before my truck was crushed. No money required unless you want them shipped. I paid decent money for this stuff, if you don't want them, I'll throw them in market place.

I believe ram stayed separate of that transaction.

Nope they got RAM too gross. Another bites the dust.

    Tell me something I don’t know.:tinfoilhat:
If Toyota offered a real full size truck. I would of went that route…but they don’t. You wont be able to convince me that a tundra is a “Real” full size truck.

    It’s not.

Ford and Chevy are left in the dust in off-road performance compared to Ram. I mean Raptors are cool but only if you plan on doing 85mph across the desert, they’re a one trick pony. Tremors aren’t bad but they’re huge with no front locker (has LSD) and really heavy and also $85,000.

Chevy is a joke, they literally put ranchero shocks and a “trail boss” badge on their trucks and call it “off-road capable”. It got left in the dust in TFL’s comparisons.

    Ram checked all the boxes:
    Front & Rear lockers
    4:10 gearing
    Zf8 transmission (google it)
    Warn 15k winch
    Skids
    Auto magnetic disconnect sway bars
    6.4 V8 420hp 450tq
    Steel Bumpers
    5 link rear with bilsteins
    Can fit 37s stock
12” Screen with True GPS (doesn’t rely on cell signal)
    Interior that’s not from 2008
and plenty of room for the Fam which was the biggest reason I left the Tacoma + many others.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love Toyotas but they don’t currently offer anything that I would want or need. I spent 2 months driving myself crazy with research about what to buy next after the Tacoma (OCD). The Ram was the winner and it has been great. Was I nervous switching to an FCA product? For sure, but so far no complaints. I have 4 other Toyota friends who have also bought rams recently and are thoroughly impressed with what FCA has done as well.

Next build will be a diesel utility body with a camper shell married to it on 40s with beadlocks. :santa2:

I'd still take the Taco lol But not a bad looking truck. When you get to 150k miles let me know how its held up.
