    None so far!
I am 16 and just bought my first vehicle, 2004 extra cab 3.4L automatic, and am looking for modification suggestions.. I have a cold air intake on the way and have done wheels/tires. Any suggestions are appreciated!

At 16, good tires and a tank full of gas are the only priorities.
And if you can cancel the CAI order, do it. Your truck already has one

Yeah, just leave it stock. Take good care of it, drive it sensibly, and then hey- cpl years down the road, you will probably get all of your $ back.
    Sound like a good idea?

is it a 4x4? If it is then id cancel the cold air intake. I would watch u tube vidz on diy maintenance and logging everything after that youll have an understamding on what ypgrades or direction u wana take the vehicle. I would change out the ball joints if you dont know when they were changed.

The best modification 9you can do is right between the ears. I would learn all that you can on that truck of yours. After you get familiar with it then go for the mods. Its hard to beat an automotive engineer.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I'd agree with the others. Cancel the CAI if possible. They are actually a warmer air intake than the one you have (which gets the air from under the passenger wheel well, instead of inside the hot engine compartment).

Take the time to go over your truck, from a maintenance perspective, before doing any modifications.

How many miles are on the truck?
Anything over 150K and I'd be saving up for things like the timing belt and water pump. The valve covers. Also suspension items like bushings, shocks and lower ball joints.
