Merry Christmas everyone, another late post, but here’s the last 4 days of the advent and then everything together.

I just took that set apart today. All of Christmas is gone as tomorrow is my youngest son's birthday. Clear separation. We currently have 6 Christmas sets that we build every year. My wife is not sure if we will keep the tradition as its takes so long to not only build them but take them apart.

why not just leave them in sections and not fully disassembled?

    Just the basics
The other Christmas addition...and I agree...just break them down a bit instead of totally disassembling them.

I store all mine assembled in some clear totes from Wally World. Each set goes into a sub container or bag to keep them “together” and therefore setup each year is at most 20 minutes for maybe 7-8 sets. Only thing I didn’t put out this year with it was the ~2006era Christmas train. That’s built in the closet with about 25 other LEGO train sets.

Santa brought my Ferrari and started building it, got into bag 2 and decided I should stop and build the Beach Buggy rebuildable. After disassembling and starting the BB I realized it wasn't going to be as great of build. And, checking the rebuildable site I can get all 660 pieces for the BB for only $60. UGH. So Santa spent almost $200 for a Lego I didn't really want to build. So the Ferrari is going together and it's a fun technical build. It's been a while since I've built a technic.
On another note, my daughter is 28 and never been into Lego, never had the technical ability. Well, she likes Friends so I bought her the Central Perk set. She had it done in a few hours and loved the build.

If you look on either the top or bottom of the box, Vader is misspelled. They have spelled with an O instead of an A

While it would be best to leave them assembled, it's a storage nightmare. And we take them all the way down so we don't lose where we are in the set. We've all had that one piece come off and not be sure where it came from. So, we do the full teardown and build them as a family next year.
