At the dealership right now for service, let's hope they offer me twice my trucks value. I'd love to sit down with them and use the four square tactic and the same jargon they try and use when they sell you the car. It would be entertaining.

I almost did the same but you're paying a premium for a wire from SDHQ. You can get one at your autoparts store or Amazon for half the price.

Same thing with "Tactical." If it has both Tactical and Tacoma, it's 8x what it's worth.

Yeah just take the cars for a test drive and have them do all the paperwork and at the end you say it was a fun ride but I’m not interested in buying.

I've always liked those lights and wish I had a neighbor like you do, but how do you access the spare tire through the cutout?

Just installed my teton workshop shift knob.
    https://tetonworkshop.com/
So far so good. I like that it has some nice heft to it. A weighted shift knob is always nice in my opinion. I was gonna go with a trd pro shift knob until i heard about this company. Price may be on the higher side for shift knobs, but a well made USA product is worth it. And it wasn't to far off from everything else. The black piece below it is from the meso chrome delete kit. I think it took about a week from order to getting it in hand. Which is really good being during the holidays.

Lol, no. But after my research into plug kits this was the most solid built and I believe geared towards a shop/professional kit vs consumer grade.

I've been considering that same tonneau. How's the driving visibility with the Bakflip folded all the way up against the back window? Can you still make okay lane changes with just the side mirrors? I'd imagine it would only be folded up completely on a few occasions.

It's a Tacoma "tax." Years ago a family member had a c5 corvette that shared a few parts with my 4th gen Camaro. We'd joke, because the same parts for the corvette were always more expensive. Hence the corvette tax.

My latest are low key, mostly appearance related items that were Xmas gifts: tufskinz rear mud flaps, tufskinz vent rings, and a license plate frame.

The front mud flaps were (unfortunately) not understood as a logical gift pairing with the rear ones, so those a requiring a 'go back' order. The tufskinz flaps are rigid as others have noted on TW, but should do the job of keeping debris from being launched from the tires, both at self and others. Plus they aren't too expensive should they snap on a trail, and will be easy to remove if I want to reduce damage risk to 0.

I'm kinda impressed with the vent rings in that they behave like the exterior paint. In poor light they look like a dull grey (i.e. cement), but match the full depth of Lunar Rock (i.e. "cemint") in sunlight.
