    Not to worry.

First, make sure the lowers fit into the axle mounts. Next, mount the upper. Then, using a floor jack for convenience (or bottle jack, or your strong biceps) push the shock arm upward, and position it into the axle mount.

The second one will just take a couple of minutes. The first one may take a tad longer... ;)

And I won't even need to jack up the body of the truck at all using this method? Also, if the shock mount is too tight, any reccomendations on what to use to widen it?

You shouldn't need to jack up the truck body. If you need more room, jack it up. No harm either way.

IIRC, I used a big pair of pliers/Channel Locks to pry the ears apart.

Is this custom made or a production truck. I'm 59 and don't recall ever seeing one. So I'm guessing custom but it probably has a 4 banger. Seems weird to make a hauler out of a 4 banger. It's in front of a buffaloes restaurant. I find it hard to believe they converted it just to hold a buffalo? I've watched this vehicle for at least 15 years and have always wondered? Any ideas? Hope Everyone had a Merry Christmas! Just throwing it out there for conversation. :santa: :notsure:

Being the same age as you, my recollection is all the dually Toyota pickups were converted in this country. I've seen mostly campers, but some flatbed work trucks as well.

I think there were all 4 bangers as well. I never understood why anyone tried to make a 4-cylinder truck a heavy duty work truck.

Nice man! I'm glad you guys got to have a good time at least. We saw at least five of them all in a pack together. My wife literally went right over one before she even realized it was there. Then we seen the others popping up for air. It's been such a long drive. We are still over three hours from home.

We've made it home. But I wanted to mention in the little town of Waldo fl there was an early 2nd gen tacoma for sale with the trd faux beadlock wheels on it. They weren't open so I didn't stop and look at it. But if they were I would have tried to do a wheel swap and cash on top to take them home. Haha

Didn’t someone in here say they repaired phones?

I destroyed the camera lense on my aging iPhone XR. Don’t know if that’s repairable or what it’d cost to repair it.

    Edit:
After a quick google search the lenses looks to be relatively easy to replace. I’ll give it a go myself.

Yes! I fix phones, and the XR camera lens is semi repairable on your own. The problem you will have to remove the screen and then the camera in order to replace the lens without damaging the camera itself. Shoot me a PM with a picture of it and I'll lyk the best course of action if you wanna do it yourself, or if you wanna bring it over to me to do it at my job in Johns Creek.

I do not use XM and the atenna was keeping my boards from laying flat so I just chopped it down the other night when I was loading up. I see the electronics bits are exposed now. What would you guys recommend filling the hole with?

    Same crap everyone else got
Trace the part you removed onto an old thin plastic cutting board and cut out the piece. then epoxy that in the hole. Paint or don't before. Your choice.

On the note of suggestions, where does everyone typically look for buy/sell/trade for firearms these days? I quit using Armslist a long time ago, and relented why when I tried to search again today. Haha.
