Thanks man. Just off for the holidays and doing all the shit on the truck I didn't have time to previously.... Got a missfire and diagnosed it to a faulty coil and some weird numbers in downstream o2 sensors caused by cracking wires. Gonna be doing injectors, spark plugs, o2 sensors all round, wrapping the long tubes and some fresh coils. Also modding the Hilux snorkel to get some more air flow, that 90 looks so small. Hopefully I can get to the Tundra master cylinder and brake booster later in the week

Will let you know. The 4runner brakes definitely work better... Got that long travel pedal though

My issue as well. Apparently the tundra master and booster fix it. Eventually you can swap the master with a Chevy one ton.

The one ton cylinder is for one ton axles. you would lock up with the Toyota brakes.

looking that way for me…..I’ll have Chevy leafs, Chevy rear axle (brakes and everything), a Chevy one ton master cylinder….will be interesting.

Hmmm yes interested. The 4Runner is gonna be pulling driveway duty in 2022 (not even gonna renew the sticker :() while I work on a big list of neglected items, perhaps 35s will be part of ‘23 if 3RZ swap doesn’t pan out. Gotta drop the cruising rpms, the sbc complains to my gas tank spinnin’ so fast at 85km/h.
Don’t hold out for me, but I’m a little interested

Edit...uggghh, 200 rpms is hardly worthwhile.... but can beggars be choosers?

I’ve only got 1 foot in line, flat broke while self-isolating :annoyed:. Your 315s may be lingering a while.

Interesting. I wonder if you have to taper the spindle to accept the tierod. Would be an easy swap other then the price of the drill and tap. Would move the weak point to the rack and frame. The amount of flex there is crazy already.

all good. No stress on my end. I’ll post em up and see. If they sit too long maybe we can make a trade or something.
