ARE topper. Mud guards, factory steps, third bed rail behind cab, tacorail accessory holder, ram mount tablet mount, hood wrap and retro stripes. Bug shield and window shields. Molle seat cover on tear seat.
Had a new Toyota PU in 1991 before they were Tacoma, called it the TOY. Used to have a TJ Jeep, called it the TJ. Now I have the OR and call it the Taco like most owners.

Could have called it the EX...as much money that I've sunk into it.20211119_132402.jpg

Decided on "The Red Wolf". Why? Cause its red, and I like wolves. Also sort of an awareness/homage thing, as red wolves are practically extinct (estimated to only 9 being left living in the wild).

Call her “Eliza.” After I saw Hamilton, I walked around the house randomly exclaiming “Eliiiiiza!” for several days. It annoyed my wife, and hence, the truck name was born.

DUDE, that truck is a SHOGUN! You just want to be in the driver seat, not the puny trail that monster is about to crush...

    Love at your truck bro!

I just bought a 2004 Tacoma. I paid a premium and it has a rusted and leaking gas tank. More work than you would think to get it fixed. The current name of my new truck is “The Valdez”.

Omg bro.. sorry to hear about this.. any work on a taco can be done if you look at the totally functional design. My buddy broke his tank off rock crawling, we reattached it with some barbwire fence..

Knowing Sam , he probably never fixed it..

Have you actually looked where the leak is? I'm betting 1 good neighbor a 12 pack of pbrs might save you a few hundred bucks

A g1 Tacoma could easily take a g2 tank those hangers are plenty wide. You just need 2 re drill new holes in them. It's almost exactly the same design.

Then just attach your old stuff to the ID, you will probably always have an extra 2.1 gallons of gas because you have a slightly larger different shaped tank

My solution costs what ever a salvage Tacoma g2 tank costs.. your toyota dealer is going 2 gouge you on a "g1" tank, unless you can find either at a local salvage yard..

Incidentally your truck parts very well with anything tru 2006. My 06 sport could swap 80% if you owned a welder and tourch. But not a 2007.. a lot changed, computers, track control ect.

    Good luck bro

My lovely wife (who drives a Prius named “Penny”) named my truck:

    King Weenus

this was about three days after I explained that the weenus is part of the elbow and she thought that was hilarious (I’m 38 and she’s 36 by the way).
as part of my next suspension upgrade, I’d kinda like to see if Dirt King would do some custom name plates that say “King Ween” instead of “Dirt King”.

it is also worth noting that my wife, who has her masters in public health and coordinates international studies, refers to the front and rear differentials as “the nut sack” and “the butt sack” respectively, but since she came up with these names while I was explaining to her why I needed 5.29’s and air lockers (which she ok’d), I can’t give her too much grief about it.
