Just got shipping notification for my order from Nov 8th

 

My rack was delivered yesterday and I got it installed today. Love it so far.

What's the best way to get an update on an order? I placed my order on Nov. 15th when there was a 1-3 week turn around, but haven't heard anything.

 

I ordered mine on 11/12. I contacted them yesterday and they said that they just got a shipment of aluminum in to make the side panels. Mine should ship within 1-2 weeks according to their sales people. To give you an idea. They have a “contact us” link at the bottom of the RCI website home page.

 

I apologize for the delays! Our supplier was supposed to deliver that aluminum shipment a couple of weeks ago and it never came. We are working diligently to get these built and headed out to you though!

 

@bulldog Ordered on 10/10 and got mine Wednesday. Would have been here last week if the fedex truck didn’t get lost. Hope your order ships out soon.

 

The @RCI-Offroad rack looks badass in the snow. Best looking rack on the market in my opinion. Time will tell how well it holds up but at this present moment im a happy feller. Thanks RCI

 

truck looks good. are those BD S2's or DD SS2's on the ditch brackets?

What’s the lead time looking like on these? Tried ordering a rack (from a different company) last year about this time for a big Memorial Day trip and long story short I was screwed over but thankfully got my money back 6-7 months later.

just don’t want another 3-4 week but really be a 3-4 month

 

Input please......I'm had mine sitting in my garage for a few weeks. I do have the factory rack and was wondering about the trim on the roof. Is it a must have? If so can it be put on after the rack is installed? Any help would be appreciated.

 

@bulldog you dont have to put the trim back in. I installed my RCI rack without the trim and you dont notice its missing. There are short pieces of trim above the windshield i cut and put back in to make it look “finished.”Otherwise the rest of the trim can go in the trash. Only you will know the rest is gone. Its entirely up to you though. The rack looks great

 

I totally missed this thread.
However since I have your rock sliders (and love them) I still check the website once in a while when I'm bored at work and one time I was, whoa! They have a roof rack now! and bang, ordered on 9/19.
I got it 6 weeks later and installed it about a month before winter hit. I put it together in my living room, prepped the roof with the rubber blocks in position, had a neighbor help me carry it out and set it on top, then I went to mounting it and cutting the weather stripping to fit. Make sure you have a grinder/cutter on hand because my neighbor saw me with a hacksaw butchering the trim pieces and came back out with an angle grinder and helped me finish it up lol.

I haven't put it to use yet but I love it and it looks great. 100% rock solid too. I do get some expected wind noise though. With this and the 2" OME lift I installed the month before I lost 3 mpgs but who cares. RCI is top notch! You other guys should leave a review. I'm the only one who has!

Sorry for the late response here!
We are about 3-5 weeks out on these roof racks. That is a bit of a stretch to expect that long as this time. Right now we are working on more side panels and they are in powder coating. We have more 1/8" Aluminum on order for the front faring. That should be in the shop very soon!
