I finally pulled the trigger - looking forward to pretty much hanging up the shovel.

We had a little freezing rain this morning, around dawn. Everything was just wet by the time we left to get our booster shot, shortly after 10 a.m. Now, it's off and on rain with a stiff wind.

If any of you sharpen your own chainsaws I highly recommend the Stihl 2 in 1 sharpener. Wow, the chain is like new.

My Stihl is electric and uses their proprietary micro blades. Not much to sharpen on those. The last time I asked a chainsaw place about sharpening them, the dude got a pained look and said it was better to just buy new ones.

Micro blades ? Do they last any longer than regular saw blades ?

Not at all. They work great out of the box and I have no complaints but they are not as robust or meaty as regular blades.
I keep the electric saw in the truck and I often need it to cut my way into the cabin if we have not been there in a while. I use the gas Husky when I am doing serious cutting. That's too big and smelly to carry in the the truck. That Stihl is really great.....the blades, not so much.

I finally decided to pull the trigger last year... And they were already sold out everywhere by that time. Now we have supply chain/inflation problems.

Did you have to pay an arm and a leg compared to previous prices?

Not at all - paid the listed MSRP. I buy from a small-ish shop. It was taken over by new owners who decided to order for both this year and next, just in case. They are loaded with snow blowers at this point - both Simplicity and Husqvarna.

What’s up my fellow PA people, specifically any DELCO people out there! Have a question and hoping to get some help here.

will be picking up my new 22 off-road sometime this week and I’m going to be putting a lift on it. Already bought the lift, it’s an Eibach Pro Stage 1(already assembled) and a HeadStrong 1.5” AAL for the rear. My problem is I need someone to install it without ripping me off and who knows what they are doing.

Can anyone recommend any shops or people preferably in the Delco/Chester Co area that could do this work?

    Thanks guys!

That’s great, I’m a stones throw away from Chester. Does he own a shop or just a guy who knows his shit and loves to work on trucks?

I'm just a guy who works on trucks. I'm moving out to Garnet Valley, less wildlife than Chester.

That's a good lift you picked, easy to install on a new truck.
