Nob here with wiring. I want to wire a light bar in but it only be on/off when truck is running. I have wired into battery before but afraid wife or someone might leave it on and run battery down. What is the best spot to run the yellow wire to?

I know i'm a newbie but thanks in advance for the help.

The simplest would be an add-a-fuse to one of the IGN spots in the fuse box under the dash. Don't know the exact spot on 2nd Gen, but some dudes in here may point to it.

Also, if the light bar is comes bare with no wiring or harness you'll want an appropriate size relay because I'm sure the light bar pulls over 3amps.

The 7.5A Acc fuse should work if you want it to only come in with the ignition.
The 10A Tail fuse would work if you only want it to come on with the Parking/headlights.
