The Fellowship of PNW Tacomas | PDX Area Wheeling

I didn’t purchase the kit but I am down to join you! I wanted to do the last adventure but didn’t hear about it until it was almost over.

 

Im a sucker for a good time, so I bought in. Im interested to see where the first clues lead. Ive got you on Insta too, so I'll let you know when we figure out the first bit. Should be mid January.

 

I've heard Lolo puts on some events but I don't know too much about them. Maybe I can read up and let you know. Sounds fun though! I plumped a diesel heater into my gofast camper and have been pretty successful camping in the cold so far.

 

I would love to have one of those diesel heaters! For now I suffice with a tri layer FSR and a cupid heater. Ohh, and my heat box of a wife LOL! I dont know where they will send us, but I hope the skys are clear and the snow is deep.

 

Bought a Chinese one, and after $150 and way (way way) more hours than I care to admit learning how to tinker with it, I get a night full of dry heat. I'd recommend giving one a shot if you're interested.

How does the lolo game work? Sounds like clues are sent out at certain intervals for gear that's stashed across the country?

 

Lolo will be sending out clues or GPS for locations containing the equivalent of a geocache. Tag the location/collect the cache. They are covering a lot of the country but we can really only attack the ones in Oregon and Washington

 

The last one they had given general locations with a photo/description of the area. They also classified them by how challenging the area was with trip planning recommendations. They hid caches all around ranging from gift cards, swag, overlanding gear, and some big ticket items. They also gave you extra raffle tickets for the end of the adventure party where they gave away an RTT, a lift kit from Ironman 4x4 and other things.

Anyone interested in getting out tomorrow? Goin stir crazy over here. I don’t have a Tacoma anymore, but we can all be friends… right?

 

…just to be clear, I do have my own vehicle. it’s a Jeep.

Haven’t been able to make it to much anything lately. But finally got out in the snow over the weekend. Nothing to deep or challenging, but nice to put it in 4 and play.

 

Where was the invite bro. You got my number. Hahahaha

 

It was fairly unplanned after my family Christmas. The Jeep belongs to my brother in law. His first time in the snow with it.
It was a quick run.

I still want to explore wildcat mountain someday though.

 

My buddy was up to his hood in his 1st gen yesterday on wildcat

 

Maybe we can check it out after the new year and @TacoTim85 can bring his Jeep so we can practice recoveries.
