You can buy a bunch of shit or that thing too. They make little RCI skids, K02's, pro grille, lots of stuff.

 

Will I need a Pro vin# to get that grill?

 

These Element 3rd Gens are decent RTR's. The Mfabs are way more detailed but you have to build it and costs more than $500. And I was able to make Custom King shocks with ext. reservoirs.

 

I know a guy who can get around that.

 

I'll just be over here waiting on my license plates....

Nice but expensive. I'm happy with my axial scx24. $120 when I bought it. Also have a built stampede and a slash vxl.

Thanks, Yea the Minime was my 1st build and 1st RC ever. It's just a fully functional dust Collector. The other two I use. The Traxxas UDR is insane after just having a crawler. The RC bug bit me for awhile but my taste got expensive. I wish the first 3rd gen rc was 1/24. Lol

Question for the whatever crew. My buddy's 1st gen 4runner started making a strange grinding noise in the front. It started today when he was driving home in 4wd. Max speed was about 55 and would make a noise but then go away after a couple seconds and maybe come back about 30 seconds later. Only happens in 4 but is not constant Almost sounds like metal rubbing and just started today. We've gotten heavy snow recently so he has had it engaged more, but says he hasn't done any tight turns on dry pavement. Ideas? I heard it briefly but was going straight and didn't do it in a turn

Not too sure. I'd change transfer case and front diff fluid first thing. One of them could be low on fluid. That is if he hasn't recently done them. Also if one of them has a bunch of metal shavings come out, then you know it's likely damaged.

Driving 4hi on roads is risky. Yes its covered in snow, but the dry patches you run over can cause damage. The tires can't break traction.

 

New toy in the garage. Yee.
