I keep every invoice. Last claim I had, I just submitted the invoices for things damaged and they covered it. I don’t have anything extra on my policy.

That's great. The point I was trying to make is that the average person thinks of auto insurance as a commodity with the online difference being the premium amount you pay. It's not true. Each company uses it's own policy contract language so people need to be aware and get the right policy for their needs. It sounds like you have a good carrier with a good policy. You obviously did your homework and I hope others do too instead of relying on an internet forum to set their expectations.

unfortunate that nearly 25% of drivers here do so without insurance. Guess who pays for that?! Yes, all of us who actually have insurance.

If insurance company finds out you supercharged it, they will not cover, custom coverage does not cover engine performance increases. Also Toyota will not cover any drivetrain issues as well.

Anybody run into tuning issues? Thought the re flash was the simple part. Can't even get VF tuner to install properly on my laptop. Tech support is garbage...

Temporarily turn off anti-virus and reinstall. It will quarantine a file or two, this is usually the issue I see.

you may be correct in certain cases, but insurance company's insure supercharged vehicles all the time. Pretty sure there will be something I can add to my policy to cover it if something really unfortunate happens.

not sure what version of VfTuner you are on - you now need to plug in the cable and tactrix device BEFORE you launch the program and be sure you are not putting the program in a "protected" folder. And a good idea is to turn off Windows Defender.

If you have a Surface Pro X or other ARM-based device VfTuner won't work with the ARM Windows.

Turned off all firewall and anti-virus and reinstalled twice. Getting this error
    20211228_114810.jpg

Yes, Ryan (guess from VF tuner) mentioned it through email. I did have the cable and device plugged into laptop. Did have some issues installing tactrix

    Running windows 10

    @tonered any ideas for him?

Looks like your windows defender is stopping the "vf unchTuner.exe" from launching. I have created an "exception" for that app in windows defender that allows it to run. Look in your windows security settings and see about adding this exception to app executions.

Try creating exceptions for these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\vF Tuner PRO
    C:\Users\ [your user folder] \AppData\Roaming\EcuEdit

Otherwise, you might try uninstalling and reinstalling. Right click and run the file as an administrator.

You're an administrator user on your computer, right?

Also create an exception for any folder where you will be storing tune files.

I have AVG controlling my AV and built the exceptions into AVG.

Thanks everyone for the responses. We did have to get Matt directly from OV tune involved. He did have to make some exceptions with my anti virus (webroot) to launch the program. Hopefully this will help the next person out if your using web root. Many hours lost but, do have the new tune ready now. Just need to re work my schedule for SC install and ready to flash

Happy New Year. Hopefully we can keep inching closer to normal.

So you have me curious on the Maggy Tune. What do you guys recommend for a boost gauge pod for the 2017?? Thanks.
