It's the best decision that can be made right now.

Toyota 47L A/C Clutch shims. I think the Tacoma and 4Runner use the same shims.

Clutch clearance checks out a .020. For under, $40 replaced the clutch bearing instead of buying a new compressor or clutch pack.

I'll tell my wife you said that.

Some friends have said that since my bike is plated, why don't I just follow on the bike. But again, wife vetos the idea of her towing the trailer everywhere.

    It's also a 350, so it's not like it's a beast on the highway.

Pretty sure Toyota has used the 3.5 TT overseas for awhile now. I think youd be fine with a first model year.

It's a 2rz auto but runs drives and has a clean title, should I?

    Seems like an okay-not-great price.

Did you let the magic smoke out of the slug?

Unless you need parts or a new ride, I say save the money for something nicer. Maybe a 4x4?

That would’ve been a good cab swap on my 99 frame.

The 4 runner had a tired 3rz that wouldn't die but couldn't keep 70 without flooring it and got me the same mpg as my tundra does cruising at 90

Gone are the days of the 5k dollar 4x4 it seems

That truck looked like it wasn't wrecked which is rare I really havnt seen many old cars in general that haven't been wrecked with lights that fit or paint and body lines arnt trash

The only vehicle that I've bought that had original paint and no shoddy bodywork is my 96 Camry

my 01 4r was wrecked and had 5 shades of grey but the body lines lined up, the doors opened/closed, and the headlights fit

The 98 4r was wrecked and bodged together trash, the 04 tundra is wrecked bodged together trash, the 01 4r was wrecked multiple times but fixed decently each time, the 97 Camry was 900 dollars and had chipping bondo
