It was definitely a massive improvement and worth it to me, but I'm not an audiophile so I'm sure they would disagree.

I also wanted to see if people were right and that adding the amp is as drastic a change as the speakers were so I installed them first and listened, then installed the amp and they are indeed correct.

On the Evo Sport, is the entire gull wing a window, or just the small slider part? Love those toppers, the adventure model too. Looks great!

Today i plugged in my truck...I do like the new style with it built in. Looked for the plug on the wife's pathfinder & couldn't find it, apparently the dealership decided to stick it up where you can't see it except from under the vehicle. it's been colder then -30 deg C for nearly a week, so will take it out for a drive for the first time in a week just to get it running & not frozen in place. Winter in Canada sucks!!!

p.s. you guys posting these pics with no snow & clean trucks can go to hell!! just kidding:annoyed:

When you go to the selfservice car wash they have these big clips on the wall usually in each wash bay. You hang up the mat and hose it down with the high pressure spray and that cleans them up quickly.

I can't say how good the kicker key 200 is. I have the upgraded kicker speakers and tweeters for a while and it was an improvement just with the stock headunit but it still seemed like it needed more power.

I put an Alpine Powerpack amp in mine. The Alpine power pack is 45watts RMS x 4 channels so close in power to the kicker key but a little more simplified. The difference in power even with out s subwoofer is a huge improvement.
I have a powered subwoofer I had in a previous vehicle I have the wires run for and will probably finish up installing this week.

That's what you get for living north of the wall up in Canukistan. On the bright side you have better healthcare and British Columbia. :D

That’s slick with the side car style. What’s the reason you put that in there? I’m sure you carry on your person, I’d be concerned someone seeing an empty holster thinking there is a gun in the vehicle.

Try a company called LLOD (Last Line of Defense). It's a single guy out in Colorado that does some 3D printing on the side. I follow a lot of his material on YouTube, lots of good content.

He makes a single belt clip holster. I find it a lot more comfortable than the double belt clips. I use it with the Blue Alpha belt and it works great. Here's a pic. G19 MOS with TLR7A and extra 15 round mag. I plan on adding a red dot soon. This is my EDC and it's comfortable.

Rounds should always be facing towards the gun, it just doesn’t work the other way. Try grabbing a magazine in both configurations and you will see grabbing the magazine with your finger indexing the top round will be the most efficient movement. Having the rounds face to your left for a right hand shooter, makes grabbing the magazine very awkward.

I carry all the time, that's a backup type holster for long drives, or alternate storage. The gun goes with me when I park the truck.
