Rack is super solid. I unfortunately stripped one of the screws on the roof, but got enough bite that it's still rock solid. Once I get the harness, going to install some rock lights.

I have lost so many of these bolts in the past 2.5 years. Just bought a set of 30 for like $11
    upload_2021-12-29_9-16-21.jpg

they make up almost every single 10mm bolt on the tacoma

I see your logic, but I have it set up the way I would grab the mag. I would pull it between my thumb and middle finger, with the pointer falling on the front side of the mag. perfect position to insert into the mag well. No worries though, to each his own.

You can never have enough of those. I took the air dam off of mine and put all of the bolts back in the holes. A couple weeks later I hit a deer. When I picked the truck up from the body shop I never checked. Sure enough...new bumper cover, no air dam....and no bolts. I am going to order them as well, thanks for posting.

what are those fender flares? Maybe it's me but they don't look factory. It looks a lot better than the bushwacker style with the rivets IMO. Nice looking truck

When I put my wheels and tires on, due to the bigger tires and -12 offset, the poke was kicking up all types of debris onto the truck. Since I'm not a huge fan of mudflaps, I found RDJ truck smooth fender flares. I wanted a wider flare, but with an OEM type appearance. They were completely plug and play, and for some extra coin, they color matched them pretty good. Now the edge of my tires, meet up perfectly with the edge of the flare. What I also like is the RDJ flares actually wrap under the bumper for a more finished look. If you notice, the stock flares just sort of end. Always thought that looked awkward. Below are some before and after pics. Here's a link to RDJ as well.

Yeah it’s easy when you have a good system. I carried a tier1 for the longest I think the sidecar balanced the weight out. Been running a las concealment now.
How did you screw it to the molle? Doesn’t seem like much room to be able to hold a screw there

So you grab your magazine in more of an underhand grip indexing the front of the bullet vs grabbing and overhand grip then rotating your hand ? I know it’s hard to picture lol

Just wrapped up installing a OEM tailgate remote lock kit. Works like a charm, highly recommend it.

hell yeah bro! Hope you like it, sooo worth it for me knowing my bed is locked! You have a cover or a topper? Did you use all of the zip ties? I had half of them remaining when I was done.

I don't have a topper, yet. Still debating on getting one. I do like the looks of the A.R.E. overland top. I think I had more than half the zip ties left over.

Yea, I had some left over too. They came in handy for other projects.

I got lucky with the Destantis. the holster clips fit the molle slots perfectly.

A great accessory to have. I like that it’s quiet while locking & unlocking the Truck.

I’m a fan of what works for you is fine. But to reiterate your point of rounds facing the gun. This is what can happen under stress or when rounds face away from the gun.

I would say the plate lights were the worst ones to install just because of the awkward angles. Still only took me about 20 minutes of patience.
