@kmorgan3 will your illumination harness work with the Anytime Backup camera switch? I'm assuming it will, but figured I would ask before I order one.

If you want it to plug directly into the existing ABC harness I’d need to make a slight custom modification. If you don’t mind cutting off a couple of the ABC wires to attach them to my harness then you can order as-is. It’s just a different connector than the single push-style that comes stock on my harnesses.

 

Got it, let me look through all that stuff again as it says for 2020+ trucks, illumination wiring is part of it.

Would a switch like this work with your illumination harness?
Diode dynamics has backlit pods now, I want to use the top button for backlight and the bottom for main beam

 

I’m working on a production order for dual switch illumination harnesses now, actually. In the meantime I can very easily convert my current harnesses to work with the dual style, but you won’t be able to daisy chain them with the single style. The pin mapping is too different otherwise it would have been as easy as adding a single wire

 

I'm installing an Anytime Backup camera on the left side of my steering wheel in the very near future. What would it take to get a pnp solution for the provided double throw switch?

 

I would just need to order the connector for those and you’d be good to go. Im not taking orders right now while I’m moving houses, but I should be fully up and running by next Monday. I’ll place an order now for a few since a lot of people have asked. I can reach out when the shipment of connectors arrives.

Kyle you doing a conversion pigtail for the ANYTIME switch? or just loose wires?

 

I have a bunch of Anytime connectors now and am just building the base harnesses with the appropriate connector on them. No conversion needed.

 

I don’t think the ABC harness has the connector hardwired to it. It’s just pigtails, so I’ve been building them with a replacement connector that has hardwired illumination and pigtails for red/orange/green.

 

Seems so...scratch my input. They even got rid of using the position indicator LEDs.

 

I think they still use the position indicator LED. I called the ABC guy a few weeks back and it sounded like he was still using them. The only thing I really have to pay attention to is the diode they sneak into the back of the switch connector.

 

I also sent Brian an email about the select LEDs, waiting on answer...

 

The reason the backlight LEDs say “not used” on his stock photos is because the 2020 head unit harness by ABC illuminates those LEDs on its own. For 2019 and below you have to tap or use one of my harnesses to get the backlighting.
