Do you have a way to monitor short term and long term fuel trims?

Yes i do. i have an ultragauge that i use for that, but i wasnt 100% sure if the info on that could be trusted since the AFR module is adjusting what the computer is seeing in closed loop.

Last time i checked though, i remember LT trims being right around 0 while cruising and the ST Trims varied slightly sometimes adding, and sometimes pulling a little fuel. I think i read somewhere though that ST trims changing is normal due to changing driving conditions. What are your thoughts on all of this?

It was 39*F this morning and i saw the boost gauge blip 15.1lbs on a 3rd gear wot pull right near redline. I think i am going to remove the black box/intake resonator in the passenger wheel well this weekend to see if that has been an intake restriction. In other news, the CV axle i got for my AWD conversion from LKQ with only 24.5k miles has a torn outer boot, so i bought a reboot kit and the tools and i'm going to learn how to do that soon. I figured that'd be easier than buying a reman or trying to get them to swap it out and even then i wouldnt know what i'd end up with. At least the one i've got now is for sure OEM

Rebooted my LKQ axle today. It was a good learning experience, should go much more smoothly next time around. I hit a couple speed bumps but was able to get it wrapped up so id call it a success

Took out the intake resonator today from the passenger fender well. Hopefully this will open things up a bit

Man nothing wrong with that. It was a cold mofo here today, but i made myself get out in it. Got my old engine on a stand, and took off the upper oil pan so i can have some work done on that this coming weekend. It started out 21 this morning though with 20 mph winds gusting to 30. Pretty much miserable lol

Making some good progress today. Got the turbo oil drain welded in, and basic mockup is complete. Torspd is working on the individual runners now for the manifold

    Sir,

So I’m guessing you drove to Torspd’s Supercharged and going to drive back home Turbo?
Well I’m sure it will sound so much better

So no room to get the turbo down lower? I heard rumors somewhere that was the plan…

We looked at it but there was not room for the primaries to be pretty close to equal lengths with it down lower. So we opted to move it up a little in an effort to better balance the lengths of the primaries

My apologies but I didn’t think equal length primaries were that big of a deal with a turbo.
I was just under the impression that the down tube size / flow were more important.
But I don’t know and the first to admit it…
