    Leather stuff:

made another messenger bag. Deep black hide exterior, suede lining inside details, solid brass hardware with copper rivets and a cobra buckle for a main clasp because they’re tacticool. I want to add a top handle but I’m waiting for the correct hardware. Should be here this week.

The light suede lining on the main flap is really soft and is already building a slight patina from use. This will evolve into shiny patches as time goes on.

The same suede was used for the interior pocket/divider.

Thanks Ryan! I’m going to make this into a bag that converts to a saddle bag for my scooter. Planning a moto camping trip this year and I hope to make all my own luggage for the trip.

That’s dope dude! You’re a man of many talents. I love the leather stuff that you’ve been making over the last year or two that you’ve shared

There’s been a bunch of little things I’ve made that haven’t been posted: Camera strap, keychains, ID lanyards. All pretty basic and just stuff I’ve needed or wanted or people have asked for.

It’s always cool to be able to make your own stuff that you need.

“Field notes” notebook with pen and business card holder. This was made out of scraps of suede from the messenger bag project.

Thank you for the work @GHOST SHIP - pleasure meeting you.

Was able to check out the welds in person, and they are beautiful.

-- he also installed SPC UCA while doing the CMR-

Definitely would be coming back for the services and I will advise anyone else to do the same!

    Cheers!

Jeebus. Might have to start taking non refundable deposits for appointments. Twice now I’ve had people no show/no call for appointments for work. Not taking food off my plate but a douche move nonetheless.

The rest of you are good people. :fistbump:

Flakey people get on my nerves. If you say you’re going to be somewhere or do something, you’d better be there or do it.

Sorry to hear those couple people didn’t even have the decency to let you know they can’t make it.

Thanks Theo. Annoying for sure but, meh. I take it as how much society has changed in regards to instant gratification. A gentleman’s handshake is always going to carry more weight than a “virtual hi five”.

I'll make sure to remember this when I start doing side work.

Guess I never considered it cause some of us are always true to our word.

    Some people huh?

    Blacklisted!
It happens. Not a huge deal for “labor” jobs like installs and CMCs, but if/when you start doing custom builds then you’ll want to address things like that beforehand so at the very least it’s been discussed.

    Noted!

I've just been doing small things, and will offer free work for some time to get the word out. Just small things of course.

Ooof. Weather permitting (which looks like it will be!) you won't need to worry about this with me. Got everything laid out in the garage ready to rock and roll on Sunday! :) Just pulled the trigger on some FN Five Stars today and am looking forward to being able to fit some beefcake tires on this thing.

Speaking of weather and beefy tires! @Kwikvette I just saw your snow pictures in another thread and now I see you in here... I'm down in Bakersfield, but are there any threads on here for group trips in the Tulare area? I'm new to the scene and inexperienced so would love to be able to hook up for a group ride some time to start learning the ropes.

Nice, getting some work done by Sergio?

I can't recommend him enough; hell I used to live in Salinas and drove nearly 7hrs each way just for some custom sliders.

As to off roading, I'm off weekends from now on.

You let me know if you want to come out to the Fresno area and I'll always be a +1 to spot or off-road with ya.

I'm a bit of a noobie myself :burp:

    Right on I appreciate it!

Got this coming Sunday set aside for install of an Ironman foam cell pro kit plus cab mount chop. Looking forward to it -- seen nothing on here but years of glowing reviews for Sergio! :)
