    If you think theres room id love to make the stock air box work. I am wondering though if the oil filter housing is going to be in the way. Either way we can take a look at it and see if it looks doable and go from there!

    My thoughts as well. From what I looked at with the current setup, I think it would be easier to get to the OEM intake box with the hanging position. Could possibly even keep the SAIS.

    Hey Guys,
    The vendor for the Magnuson supercharger system said that the manifold that was used for the 2TR was a manifold they modified from an existing system they already had. I’m sorry but I’m having a complete brain fart and can’t remember what engine it was from. I’m guessing one of you with more knowledge then me (that shouldn’t be hard) might know? I sent the outgoing & incoming GM asking them if they can’t get the Magnuson supercharger in the foreseeable future what about adopting one of their existing turbo systems for the 2TR. Have no idea what, why or how but the worst thing they can do is say No.
    Just a shot in the dark…

    A quick and easy way to find out would be to get a manifold gasket of each and lay on top of one another, possibly free at a box store counter lol

    Update
    Well I got a reply from the vendor of the Magnuson supercharger.

    “At this time, we aren't exploring any turbo options. I know there is a turbo option I believe it's out of Australia.”

    So has anyone heard of someone in Australia having a turbo manifold?

    OzBoost is who they're referring to.
    They use a manifold from Shanghai Waystar, available on Alibaba. It's what I'm using, along with a few others.

    It's junk.

    Pretty certain the video is of the member here's truck, @05Taco4x4 . Exquisitely done, at that.

    Also, I have enough material to make @BassAckwards ' manifold. Then I'll get some more material and be able to make a T3 or T4 version of the one that I did for my friend. To sell.

    And I was told that LCE was changing the design for the 2TR header to a “Hugger” style = NON equal length. I didn’t think much about it then I get a text asking if I would have an old one to sell?
    So the old style might be in “Demand” now? LOL…

    Once these two "kits" (less than actually, since they will be adapted to the URD intake) are performing, demand may start growing.

    These won't be available for the price that they offer. Just not feasible. They will be strong though.

    Actually I *read* the new design could hurt torque with the same design as stock & larger primaries. I have read debates about this before. Non equal length large primaries have been shown to actually hurt the low to mid range. Now I don’t know SHIT just repeating what I read on another forum.
    LCE said they changed the design “To Accommodate Everyone”.
    Does anyone know what might have changed on the newer 3rd. Gen to make the old style not fit?
    Now this would make for a good poll question in the 3rd Gen section but where? Can someone please start a poll!?
    Or is the new design easier / cheaper to manufacture?
    I know the cost of material has gone up tremendously lately.

    I imagine it will be simple like an OEM design. Works but primarily about packaging. That it will also retain the SAIS.

    Plus, all things considered- the gains difference between UEL and EL headers specifically for our trucks (and most NA engines) is nearly negligible. UEL headers satisfy a broader range of engine conditions/tuning, where to get the most out of an EL header, you'd want a custom tune.

    Forced induction is different, since EL headers keep those exhaust pulses consistent- allowing spooling of the Wu-Tang War Whistles to be quicker. Look at any Scoob- UEL headers are a good bolt-on to start with while still on stock turbo (And they retain the notorious Subaru grumble), but switching to EL headers gives you that big powerband up top. Downside is it gets rid of that rumble :(

    When I had my 04 STi, the EL headers went on after I swapped turbos. The difference in power was noticeable, and the sound changed completely.

    I LOVE the sound of the EL it sounds fantastic! Paul @ PPE makes all EL headers and his vendors said his header never really caught on because of the sound on the flat 4 now I see why. LOVE the EL sound to me it sounds like an high RPM motorcycle sound…
