Hey, I've got a 2018 tacoma trd off-road and am going to get a 3inch leveling kit while I wait for my suspension to come in, and I was wondering if I could fit a 285/70r/17 tire with the leveling kit, I am sure there will be some rubbing which I don't mind as long as its not a ton, my other option is dropping to a 255 but people are saying I will regret it, any info will help!

you can fit them without the levelling kit. Just a CMC and some trimming needed

Who the hell is saying you will regret going to a 255? It's a half inch narrower and requires none of the cutting that 285's need to not rub.

    Les Schwab, lol.
j/k, I don't know that. Just seems like someone trying to sell more expensive tires.
