Is anyone interested in selling a position or considering selling their used Drifter? I have a Gen. 3 Tacoma with 6’ bed.

Sorry, at this point I’ve waited too long. I’m willing to die of old age than give up my spot.

I know it’s a Hail Maryann and I’d feel the same as you after sitting patiently through such a long lead time… always worth a shot before I pay the deposit & hop in the back of the line.

Don't hop in at the very back of the line. Inevitably there's going to be someone that wants to sell their spot and getting spot number two hundred something is better than getting spot three hundred something.

I agree on both of these points! Spots come up for sale sorta frequently... But not mine, 26 months in and I'll die before I sell:rofl:

Are you going for the base hover model or upgrading to get the wormhole generator?

It's probably going to have a 4.5' bed, so it won't fit. :angrygirl:

Was that a red Ranger with gray drifter? Saw one in Fremont in Seattle a few days ago. I live in Seattle and have a Drifter on my Frontier. Nice to see a couple more local Drifter owners!

Yea that’s the ranger I was mentioning. I’ll be bringing mine back to Seattle very soon!

For all those still waiting…I stopped by the shop before my drive back to Seattle since one of my t-handle locks froze/broke while in Tahoe. Someone was rolling out with a new drifter when I got there, but more importantly I saw a bunch of cut/formed aluminum that looked likes it recently arrived. Probably 10 or so lower portions ready to get pieced together.

Hope this helps provides some piece of mind for the time being.

    It's DLX son!
I popped in right before Christmas and saw the piles of laser cut parts, and then I stopped by again on Thursday morning and they had all the frames riveted together and ready for welding. According to Phil they should be getting welded up today, and then if applicable sent out for powder coat. Phil also confirmed that he had all the components in hand for my build.

I appreciated Phil taking the time to walk through the shop with me, but at the same time, it would have been more efficient for everyone if updates were more readily available via e-mail vs. me detouring through Benicia when I am in the area. It is encouraging to see some progress though, and Phil went over some improvements they're making that should result in a more streamlined approach to parts inventory etc.

He has lots of ideas for future platform developments/options/etc. but said himself they need to catch-up first and foremost. Fingers crossed we see an uptick in the rate of completed campers soon.

Phil told me at Overland I was in the next batch. Hope what you saw was it. #180 I may have screwed myself by adding the Tern door though.
