Placed a "request for allocation" on 11-29 for TRD Pro M/T in ELG and paid the $500. Dealership is submitting every 2 weeks. No allocations in my area yet (New Jersey shore). Flat out told me it was a "unicorn" and I wouldn't likely see it before August... if at all.

I got the same info as you on timeline and wanted the same truck, I ended up getting a TRD OR Premium MT since I didn't want to wait that long. I should have it 7 - 8 weeks after ordering.

I picked up my WCP from a dealer in KY. Dealer trade with a TN Yota dealer. I really like the paint color.

It is a color of a vanilla smoothie with ice crystals.
Dealer had a 2022 Tundra in Super White also. Side by side WCP is a better color, imho.

So I had actually placed an “order” for a 22 pro MT about two months ago and I just noticed on the print out thing that I signed confirming the order actually had a VIN number on it and I looked it up on the toyota website it’s to an actual Pro MT. Does anybody know if that means that the truck is allocated to my dealer or was it just an example VIN used to pull up the options? See attached photos….I blacked out the VIN in case it’s an actual truck, I don’t want anybody getting their dealership to steal it LOL

That is probably a temporary VIN. Is there a letter in the last 6?

Yeah lol a T and an A! Does temp mean the dealership has a future allocation or does it mean they still have to try and secure one?

Well, my sport has had a temp VIN since the 15th of December. And it is allocated to my dealer. I don't want to give you a defined yes and be incorrect. I'd feel horrible if it wasn't the truth.

If your last 6 looks like this, 02t456, what is the first two numbers? That should be the week it will be built. If what I've read here is correct AND what my sales associate told me.

Look at the last six of the VIN, if there are letters in it:

    For example:
    02A456

Then "02" is the build week, the rest is just a serial.

Should be a "real" truck order, just not built yet (or not updated in that system yet if it is built).

I did not see your post until I hit submit, but somehow made up nearly the exact same fake vin. LOL.

    So the last 6 are:
    T45A312

Does that mean it’s getting built on the 45th week of the year???

hahaha well that’s a big two thumbs down fart sound. That’s like November! I guess as long as I know for sure the dealership is actually getting one I don’t mind.

Seems like anyone who is getting allocation on Pro models os in for the long wait. I wanted one but it was way out of budget. Not like I'd actually need all the goodies it comes with. Fact that you want a manual probably doesn't help. Cannot argue though, I wanted one. Unfortunately I will be using mine to commute, so a manual was not the best idea.

If you've got a week 45 build, I think that's November 2021, not November 2022. It's still probably not built yet.

I think that's the lowest week# I've seen in a Pro build so far. So you might well be getting one before anyone. Next lowest I've seen is 47. So maybe January/February.

    * Take with grain of salt, this is total speculation by someone in same boat using publicly available data, most of it from this thread. And for me it's even first my first Toyota purchase. So I may be totally wrong.

My temp vin says week 01. My salesman said the build date would be late January, so I’m not sure how accurate those vin weeks are. That’s next week though, so I’ll know soon. I’ll post when it actually happens.

The first day I looked at the spec sheet at the dealer, it didn't have a temp vin. When I returned 2 days later to drop a deposit, it had one. Sales associate made it a point to say "Oh, it has a VIN now..."

I did not. I placed my deposit and have to wait for a truck with my specs to be allocated to Longo Toyota.

    Fun stuff.
