Here is what I did it is very easy. I bought some what we will call "film" @ Office Depot. They are really dividers. I got lucky and they where marked down at Office Depot, got the whole pack for .69 cents including tax.:woot: Avery 11907. I am sure you can use another brand if you can not find these exact ones.

There are several different colors in the pack. I used the brighter orange of the two as you can see in pic. The one on the right.

Just had to cut three pieces just slightly larger than the display and slipped them under the edge of the housing. This does two things, makes it a brighter orange and helps hold them in. Easy as can be!

You just slip one side in the opening of window (display), then bow it back and slide the other end in. Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks guys!!!

It does now. Sweet, I'm doing this when I find the time to get the dividers.

    1) its technically not "mounted" it is simply resting in place. Its resting and not moving, even under spirited driving

2)I didn't like the traditional blk/teal led backed lcd. i know theres not a way to change the color just yet, but conviently where i have it resting, its showing the negative/opposite colors black over white. It may b bothersome to some when driving at nite, but i jsut put it in last nite, and havent really taken an interstate drive, so i dont know either.

    3) where i have it resting it allowed my to conveniently hid the wire through the dash, so that it is not visible.

    Lol.

I did exactly this right after I bought it a couple of months ago. Ended up not liking the color since it was not easier on the eyes. Ended up taking it out and keeping the soothing colors it comes with.

Now after months have passed, I do not really mind it being different in color than the rest of my gauges and mods.
